As a huge fan of the first game, I cant wait for this to come out.

 

Omg omg...Dead Rising was awesome, so Dead Rising 2 is a must have /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif I only hope they toned down the control scheme (they DID have a detailed questionnaire for gamers about different aspects of the game; I've never seen a dev take such an active interest in gamer feedback). This is my new fave Capcom zombiefest since RE5 bombed.

I'm actually looking forward to this. I really enjoyed the first one. I just hope they add some more really cool weapons and special unlockable weapons from other Capcom games like they did with the mega buster. Can someone say Dante's Ebony and Ivory??? If you have to save people again, it would be nice if they improved on the follow / wait commands or at least this time give them better AI / skill to fight back when you give them a weapon. I remember trying to get the achievement where you have to save like 8 people at one time and I had like 4 of them with fucking guns and the others with like sticks, etc and only made it back to the waiting house with about 3 of them every fucking time I tried. So frustrating, I mean fuck you have a gun... USE IT!

Any way I hope they learned something from the first one, because it was awesome and the voice actor wasn't that bad. I hope we don't have to wait to long learn more about this sequel.

Oh and I hope the whole taking picture thing doesn't come back. Most of the time I was to busy slicing and dicing to be thinking about taking pictures. Shit I might replay this and try to get all the achievements this time... great game in my opinion.

 

Are u kidding man? Taking a hasty pic after frying a zombies face w. frying pan and hear that sizzling sound was comic gold! Not to mention sticking a showerhead on a zombies...well..head, and see the blood showering down, then take pic

Damn straight! Especially the loonies had great voice actors; capcom's best voice acting to date!

 

Yes KoD doesn't know what he's talking about. Dead Rising was AWESOME. Can't wait for 2.

Clearly they didn't sacrifice graphics for # of enemies on screen. That's a right tasty well-rendered man-ass.

 

The game still looked good though, it's like 3 years old now too.

 

I enjoyed putting a cone over someone's head, irish whipping them into a pane of glass, and then pulling out a shotgun and blasting they're head off after they slammed into the wall on the other side. Fun times.

Edit: The barehanded attacks in that game were badass. Disembowelment ftw.

 

I didnt catch this when I first played through the game, but I guess that "jills sandwiches" resteraunt is a nod to resident evil one when chris redfield said "you were almost a jill sandwich"
