thanks for the great advice to you both! I GREATLY appreciate this. i still believe lau is my hardest matchup! denkai's 10 in a row happened early in our session. fortunately, i was able to step back and understand what i was doing wrong. after that, the matches were pretty much even. im slowly understanding this matchup better i hope. dennis you're right!!! distance and safety is fucking priority vs lau!!! i almost had to change my style completely just to keep up with denkai's lau offense. i had to use more 3p, 1p, 4p, 9p, 4k, 6p, etc...ALL SAFE MOVES!!! and andy, thank you for the encouraging words. you, too, are right. i have to be very careful with what i choose to do after lau blocks my moves. i feel like lau has so many options, it confuses me. oh and one more thing: playing on rodney's leather couch or leather chair is fucking uncomfortable!!! everytime i do GS input, 6PG catch would come out! hahaha :sigh: anyways, from the looks of it, noone will be using lau in china. LOL im also happy about the fact that 3 days ago...

I'll try to have these matches up some time tomorrow. I wanted to have them up today, but I couldn't get my capture device working... 5 hours of trouble shooting and now it's finally working.

I'll cap everything right after work and get them up asap.

heads up but math #2 will be missing because your champion's trigger finger hit the button to initiate the next match before it could get saved. It was a decent match too... oh well the rest them were good. Match #8, especially 4 was the high light of the whole battle.

As I said in my earlier post... match #8 round 3 is the shit hahahaha. I know before I said it was round 4, but I was mistaken it was round 3. This round is definitely not HappyFriend friendly (not attacking you bro, just know you won't approve. well you and many others)

At this point VF is completely dead for NYC as we are all moving on to Tekken 6 TEMPORARILY... I can't wait to play with all of you guys again at an offline event such as Socal, tournies, etc or in what ever version of VF that drops on a console in the future.

i got smoked! denkai had a gameplan and i couldnt manage to keep up. he knows my wolf too well at this point. we shouldn't have played a deathmatch the night before. haaaa oh well

anyways, it was still fun! im sure we'll do it again.

 

I just captured the matches with the background music turned off Dennis then added the alternate music as a separate track. Did some minor editing to make sure it starts / ends decently.

As for the last vid on Sega's message board. I would do it, but know those fuckers they'd just delete it in seconds. I really wish someone from the company saw it though.
