Destro Vid Thread

Destro is a fellow VFDCer in Osaka, but unfortunately he doesn't have a PC VF.net account, so I took the liberty of recording one of our matches. I believe that supergolden has one video of them playing as well. He primarily plays Wolf, so any Wolf players, please give him some feedback on what he should do and what he should improve on.

helooo....here's some thoughts other wolf players should chime in and correct me if they think I've gotten stuff wrong as my time on VF5 has been limited.

I'm going on the assumption that P1 is Reno...the vid is too blurry for me to see (or I just don't care to squint).

at 1:51 left on the vid (sorry, that's how it displays here) Destro techs and then performs uf+P which hits. - personally, if you're going to do a jumping move I think you should perform uf+P+K. It executes slower by three frames but you can combo easily off of a hit and it recovers two frames faster when guarded. also, I find the hit throw aspect of uf+P way more difficult now in VF5 than in FT.

at 1:21 left. Reno, you hit with screw hook, lariat and immediately crouch dash in. if you're pressing forward anyway you should prepare yourself for opponents that don't tech and release the D,df+P for extra damage. you have a little time to look and see if they are teching or not.

at :56 seconds left. Destro does uf+P+K and combos with db+P...likely just an input error. d+P then D,df,f+P works like a charm but there are even better damage combos off of it.

at :15 left: struggle. the combo after reno's charged chop is not guaranteed.
