If you're not familiar with this title/and or series, then, well, you should be!

It's a SRPG (strategy role playing game) on the PS3 that boasts a wonderfully quirky storyline, holds some of the deepest, most robust character creation/optimization options in this genre, and its tongue-in-cheek humor makes the time you spend at the evil academy an easily enjoyable one!

I've been a fan of this series since its inception a few years back, and its provocative characters and gratifying game play are what really set it off for me.

Be weary though, potential negatives could include: disliking of the 2D sprites; Not too keen on anime inspired anything in general; PS3 game; turn-based combat.

This game is obviously aimed at a niche market (mind the up-and-down, mixed reviews), so it might be wise to bring along a cup of salt. However, if you happen to fall somewhere in that niche, then I really think you'll have a lot of fun with it, and I highly recommend it, dood!

lol, have they improved the graphics at all since ps2??? the tower attack was awesome.

I'll give a slightly different perspectvie, i found thier wry, quirky, irreverant humor to be the same as every games failed attempt at this, a bunch of whiney annoying little brats making up painfully obvious and stupid jokes. sorry, thats how i found it. that being said, disgea to ps2 was one of my ultimate level grinding experiences, truly loved it, put in 200+ hours into it. one of my main disappointments was that in the end you nearly had to change everyone to the exact same class/look to get the max level raises. but still a truly awesome game. if you like level grinding.

this game is the reason I havent played VF for 2 weeks. the humour can be a bit lame at times but the premise of the game is just so outrageous, I love it. I guess I'm not as jaded because I'm new to the series so that probably helps.

After playing the other two extensively I haven't really become "jaded" per se, but I can see how someone could. At the same time though, its charming overtones and kickass gameplay keep me coming back; prinny crack.

Wait, is this out in UK or not?! I checked my local gamestores and can't find a copy but EBAY is littered with UK copies.
