DMC 4 DEMO IS LIVE!

I don't know how many of you care for this series. But, just in case your bored this mourning, You could Download the DEMO via the PSN if you have Japanese PSN account(Same for XBL, I believe) Or just wait for tonight to snag it of your respected region(Australia, has to wait till Feb.1) If you don't know how to do a Japanese PSN account or a XBL one(Is easier on the PSN) Go to youtube and type "PSN Japanese account" For XBL, I think you could do the same thing, but not sure. I would love to provide some links, but I can't copy and paste on the PS web browser /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif Any trouble, use google. Oh yeah, the file is 640mbs.

I just found out, the DEMO on XBL is available to all regions, except, the PSN.

 

i hope DMC 4 is hard like DMC 3 was

 

Played the demo earlier, though I wish I hadn't cause now I want the full game and it's still 3 - 4 weeks until release /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

The demo is fairly good, the quality of the visuals seem to make combat easier. It doesn't seem as chaotic and messy as before. I really like that devil arm too, it was hilarious grabbing the enemies back for another beating after you've just blown them across the screen.

Capcom said that they have toned the difficulty down for this one and the demo is fairly easy. I'm guessing the demo is on normal difficulty but that boss was way too easy to beat /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

I'm still sure it will be pretty tough though, Capcom are well known for their difficult games and the Devil May Cry series in particular has always been fairly tough.... and there's always Dante Must Die, that's always been a good challenge.

 

Reports say early on to midway in the game the game can even get frustrating in terms of difficulty, then takes a turn for the easier side further you go along. Nothing sounds like it's gona be as easy as 2 was, which I'm really thankful for lol. That's what made 1 and somewhat 3 so fun, the difficulty.

My DL is nearly done. Gona be rough playing this then waiting till the release like Feck mentioned lol.

 

I beat the Demo a few times. Nero's Demon Arm, is cool. You could latch on to enemies(Scorpion style baby! Get over here!) Or Grab them. The "Fire Boss" battle was very "Hong Kong" Cinema. When you use Nero's Demon Arm, to latch on him, it will pull you towards him, and you end up in Mid-Air, swinging sword and Shooting. And just when you about to drop, Latch on again. Awesome stuff I say. Day One purchase for me. I might mess with a DMC titles today, just to see more of the upscaling of my PS3.

 

Well I'm pleased. It's still very DMC in the way it plays. Same rhythm and flow. Feels extremely fluid and the visuals help with that feeling no doubt. Demo is totally on the easy side but that's typical with demos.

I really like the addition of the arm as well. And curious about this ex-gauge. Wana try it on PS3 before I decide which console to get it for, but the 360 one seemed more than fine to me.

 

I kicked that Boss's ass so much lol.
If you slash him up enough, without getting hit, his fire goes out and then you can beat the crap out of him.

If you press and (B) together when he's in his vulnerable state you do this grab that slams his face into the floor and after that if you do another grab, you uppercut him into the air for a finisher.

Awesome stuff.
Now I'm trying to figure out which moves you can do jump cancels on.

 

The games hot!..I hope you get to play with Dante a lot in the actual game doe....wouldn’t it be cool if capcom did another vs game and Dante was a playable character? Yea it would. I got my Goh to almost look exactly like Dante...I guess that’s the closest imma get to having Dante in an actual fighting game

I didn't like it very much. Might be because this was the first dmc I've played. I've heard alot of good things about it though.

Looks like I was wrong, I thought he was in Viewtiful Joe Red Hot Rumble but he isn't. Maybe it was one of the other Viewtiful Joe games.

 

Dante, appear in Viewtiful Joe 2, I believe. I know he appear in Shin Megame Tensai: Nocturne.

 

Dante should have been in Super smash bros /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif with ,egaman also but there is no capcom contribution to the game. Soul Calibur would have been nice also but we get Darth Vader and Yoda. Im gonna get Soul calibur on the ps3 so im getting darth vader /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Yoda is too kool and to sketchy everybody is probably gonna worship the character /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif Meaning that ill absolutely prefer Darth over him
