Do items actually DO anything???????

Yo! Item's look cool, espeasially Lei Fei, but do they DO anything, like "double health" or "eazy combo button"?
I'm just curious 'cause i could really use those for people like..... Aoi! (that fucking bitch her...) /versus/images/icons/mad.gif i tried +- but she counters everything... ahem...back to the subject, i'm just really need an item that DOES somthing besides make ya look cool. Is there such a thing??

As far as i am cocerned no <font color="blue"> </font color> <font color="white"> </font color> items do anything b/c if the did do stuff then i would have known a difference in my highking kage that has pretty much every item on him. But what you do on Aoi is her combo and then do a high and then when your high knocks her to the ground jump on her. And when she gets up push fast and close. And stay close to her when fighting that is Lie Fies strength. And Aoi has so many reversals its insane so do a variety of attacks. hope i helped. /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

Yeah you'd think that all <font color="aqua"> sharp items and meditave items </font color> would hurt someone or help you charaters health or something like that.
