Do Sanwa parts typically last longer than others?

I ask this because I have been using the EX2 on the 360 and just under a week there's already play in the stick.

I actually have 2 VSHG's in my closet, but I haven't used them long enough for any wear to set in.

So, will I be getting new parts for my VSHG's as often as the EX2's garbage Hori gear or will the Sanwa last me a while?

    I agree, Fulan.

I think what I was really getting at was how long Sanwa parts last v trash parts.

Maybe somebody can chime in some from experience.

    Judah,

Since your exact question was never answered directly, I'll try to help even though I don't own any Sanwa stuff. From my observation, people are always saying things like "my punch button broke ALREADY..." and the response is usually "swap them out with Sanwa parts." This leads me to believe that it's commonly held that they last longer than cheapo parts. Also, I bet that's what Fulan meant when he said "a thousand times better."
