Really, a non-fungible token is just something logged on a digital ledger that has a number set applied to it. Eventually, this stuff is going to fade into the background as the transaction layer of the internet matures. You'll likely be using NFTs behind the scenes without even realizing it. Same way you can get JSON web tokens for authentication on some sites.

No need for the stupid poetry either just relax and read a bit man.

 

First I have a birds-eye view of what ethereum, blockchain,digital money, and the associated technologies are all about. Reading about it is for people who are after the fact.

Second, nobody had to do a hard sell or full court press on JSON to sucker people into it. If you understand the why's and what fors of JSON you'd realize its not rational to compare it or associate it in anyway to NFT's , blockchain, or digital money.

Third, I don't use any computer technology for any reason without having a detailed knowledge of how it works, and whats behind it..

Fourth, what you now call the Internet has been here in one form or another since the 1960's. (perhaps you should do some reading) The whole world runs on it now., I'd say its pretty damn mature as is

Okay. So according to some media, "if we are to believe them," Square recently invested in NFT's during the crash. They are saying that Square believes, that blockchain is the future.

I hope Yoshi P and Square, for their sake, know what they are doing. Many of us could do with a million dollars right now, and these companies with millions, invest in all sorts of stuff, and sometimes in uncertain useless ventures, that makes them lose money. It makes ya wonder about life sometimes.

The sad thing is, there are lots of warnings about NFT's, and these other legal digital scams, and people are playing ignorant and ignoring the warnings. The other sad thing is, you are warning people, and they don't want to listen. I guess some people must learn things the hard way.

 

2023 and Ubisoft still hasn't learned their lesson. Some of their employees are dissing them, for following the block chain trend. Sad.
