This was simply amazing! And yeah, it seemed to end abruptly?

But imagine what this would do to sales for VF if made into a full length movie? You could have climax being the contest between Wulianzhi and the Korean TKD fighter (call him, I dunno, Hwoarang?) with the movie ending with the meeting of Wulianzhi and Yu Suzuki, and the birth of Virtua Fighter!

I loved the parts where they talked about theory fighters (LOL), and how you can study a martial art all your life, never master it, and never make a living from it but the real driving force is the continuation of the tradition.

Definite parallels to be had with our fighting game community and experience!

 

The full length fight between Wu Lianzhi and the korean TKD fighter is circulating on youtube somewhere. I've seen it before while researching bajiquan videos, before I even knew anything about Wu Lianzhi or what the fight was really about. I thought it was a student-master lesson session rather than a light contact spar.
