Does the AI learn? (And some Shun questions)

I found out about this game yesterday and bought it today, and it's the coolest game I've ever played! Damn... I was never big into fighters, but I started playing tekken 4 with my roomate about a year ago, and fell in love/pretty much mastered the lei wulong character because he kinda sorta did parts of the 8 immortal drunken boxing sets.

I read about this game in a totally unrelated message board because someone was talking about the Shun-Di character... Dude! I figured from the descriptions it would be cool, but I wasn't expecting him to represent pretty much all of the techniques... !!! There is even a punch where he lays his hands out like he's playing a flute! The only thing that seems to be missing is a throat lock, and some Miss Ho taunts to make it super authentic. But there is that punch where he leans back kindof like in the drunken master movie... ("DOWN THE HATCH!"), that's good enough replacement for the throat lock I guess... I guess :). Anyway, I digress, sorry I've just been learning the Shun Di character for the last 8 hours and I'm all cracked out... haha. This is so cool!

Anyway, what's the specifics on the "AI" in this game? Does it learn your moves after a while? It seemed like the game started to figure out the few commands that I got good at and starts whooping my azz... Maybe I'm just tired... How smart is it, does it actually "learn"?

Also, everyone in the board is talking about playing Evolution, but at the video game store, the guy said it wasn't coming out until October. Was he wrong, or all of you guys from Asia and it's already out there or something?

O well, I guess the next two weeks of my life are going to be wasted figuring out this Shun Di character in this game... weee! The Lei Fei characters looks like he'll take another two weeks of my time, haha.

One other thing, is there a way to get Shun to stagger around for longer periods of time? All the moves, he staggers for like a second and stops. Is there a trick to accentuate his staggering for longer periods of time? I always liked the drunken master walk with lei wulong to draw people in, and smack them around when they come in too close.

Well I know for sure that if you keep using the same throws on him, after awhile he'll escape them everytime. So yes the AI does somewhat learn.

It's coming out August 12th so go back to the store and get your refund or get store credit for Evo which should be the same price.

Unfortunately no, but then again, he's already kinda staggering when he's in normal stance. I know, I know that's not what you meant but no you can't make him stagger forever like Lei.
