Does VF3 have a ending?

I was playing VF3 for Dreamcast and beat the arcade mode on all the difficulty ratings and I see about 3 seconds of what appears to be a ending sequence and then the game freezes. Is this normal or is there a way to see the entire ending?

    Is your copy an original?

It is an original without a scratch on it.

    Weird.
The game has only one ending, the credits roll by and you see replays of your winning round vs. each character. During the replays shadows trail around your body and the opponent's. Then after all that, you get to enter your name in a cool way - you change alphabet man to different letters and you have to knock him down with an attack to make the letter entry.

Why yours freezes I can't guess...

What he could have seen was the alphabet man sequence right before it gives you the ranking. If you don't get a record time, it blips in briefly then blips out. This is following the credits, however.

Can't explain freezing at all, though. Maybe it's a messed up print of the game?

My NA copy of VF3TB for the DC would freeze up all the time during credits, and then eventually in VS. My japanese version always worked without aany issue. Maybe it's from using an NA copy on a modified DC (originaly a japanese DC), or it could have been a bad pressing of NA discs.

    cheers,
