Down P+K--P+G Distance restriction?

I have a feeling that it is just my timing is off but...
If I go into backturn with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif and I am at medium distance, I can usually pull off /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif-- /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif with no problems. But if I go into backturn with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif and I am really close, I can never get the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif to connect. So can this one only be done from mid distance or is my timing just jacked up?

 

Im pretty sure its just your timing. Up close it needs to be faster.

 

Try to time yourself with Pai's voice and/or the "thud" of the 2P+K

 

Thanks guys, I will have to practice more. I thought it was my timing but I was getting really pissed trying it over and over again and not connecting.

 

Also remember the golden rule that everything is always more difficult to pull off in a real fight.

I have 100% SPoD wit Akira in training, I wish it was teh same when fighting for real...
