LastFM, Facebook, SKYTV, Motion Camera, Twitter..etc. MS is not joking with their social networking goal. I think MS had a good E3, what did you guys think?

I don't know what to think of Project Natal. The technology and use of it seems like something out of some futuristic fantasy, but the application of it is somewhat questionable with regards to certain gaming. It's highly impressive, no matter what you think.

    Obvious shots at other companies:
Natal not being some lame sit down waggle thing.
Natal fully working with all current 360s and all future 360s.
360 no longer needing discs to play games.

I really didn't know what to think of that Project Natal thing, I could just imagine people breaking their necks trying to get it to function properly.

Imagine being inebriated and trying to use that? We won't be able to drink and play games anymore /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

I actually like the direction MS was taking in their presentation, and personally, I wasn't excited about the MGS game - An adventure with just Raiden on a DVD9 disc? So... I'm assuming the PS3 gets a similar game, but with Big Boss instead? Sounds like milking to me.

Personally though, parts of the Natal thing were cool (facial and object recognition), but I'm not sure I want to play an RPG wherein I have to shout "magic!" and then wave my hands around to cast a spell. My wife would end up with tons of ammo to pwn me with.

Still, I think it would be awesome as an integrated feature.

I thought the presentation was balls horrible. Those are professional speakers? Games shown looked good. LastFM makes me really happy. Making good on being able to watch tv/movies with friends via party is good.

Natal? Looked horrible to me. A medium of gimmics and shock factor rather than gameplay. Wii 2.0. It is not the direction I want games to go, at all.

The press release I'm holding my hands says that the MGS 360 game is 360 exclusive...weird.

Another major blow to SONY nevertheless.

Now MS is saying it's not exclusive (meaning it's a timed exclusive most likely).

Not only that but Kojima is distancing himself heavily from the game in interviews...

Guess the wind was really taken out of the sails on this one.

Oh well I like MGS and have a PS3 and 360 so no big deal either way.

There is no press release out there that says is 360 exculsive. That was just a assumption by the idiots over at IGN. And what I quoted was fromG4. I don't know how IGN, could be so fucking stupid, when there's clearly a PS3+PSP Famitsu magazine showcasing the two titles. Game journalism at is fucking finest. I'm not going to get into the whole "Game journalism" shit again.

I thought that Natal thing was pretty dam sick. I'm looking foward to using some shit like that in 2011,2012 or whenever that thing comes out and seeing what games they make for it. Can start break dancing n shit and your avatar does the same shit your doing lol, that'd be cool. Avatar Dance Battle, the game hahahah.

That Milo thing was kinda trippy, Imagine talkin to that dude all f'd up off shrooms (wouldn't recommend that) or liquor.."Yo Milo! I'm FUCKED, UP right now joe. What you got to say bout that homie?" lol.

Some wild shit going on man. I'm waitin for some freaky azz mf's to get a hold of that and start making some neked females on some X rated shit.

But anyways, I think it'd be dope to play some kind of fighting, sports or shooting game with that Natal thing. Shit was crazy cool imo. On some next level type stuff for real man.

I think this Natal thing is exciting, not for the new spin it will put on old ideas, but for the innovative new ideas it will generate. This is like the Wiimote times a hundred. Although most of the ideas it brings to the table are nothing new, putting it all together in a standardised platform is going to change video gaming for the better.

The only catch is, it's probably going to end up having mainly gimmicky tacked on uses at first, due to the inevitable adaptation curve. Hopefully that won't ruin it's image before the real games come out that live up to the tech demos.

Calm down y0, So far the game has only announced been for 360. Maybe the PSP and PS3 games talked about in Famitsu are seperate games, who knows.... maybe we'll find out more at Sonys conference.

All I know is... games like Virtua Tennis, Baseball, Fight Night, etc. are going to be awesome if they're Natal-compatible.

Referee giving me crap duing a title match? WHAM! And I could see Milo running in with his sad face "why did you do that?" WHAM! again.

Natal has the potential to be serious fun. It's Wii, x10, with better graphics, and no Nintendo nannies saying "it's too bloody" to nerf it.

When was the last time Nintendo nannies nerf games on the wii?

The Natal seems catered to a new game audience rather than old. Reminds me too much of other peripherals that failed in the past. Hopefully it get lots of support.

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea. Save for the portable GTA (money talks...), I can't recall another similar game for a current Nintendo console.
