1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

What's the odds of a next gen announcement of VF at this year's E3?

There have been times in the past when we've all been pleasantly surprised by an E3 announcment:rolleyes:

I still don't have that PS4 and unless I hear a VF announcement I don't know that I'll ever get it.

Is there any word? Or have we officially seen the last installment of Virtua Fighter?

VF6 seems more likely to be announced at a Tokyo Game Show rather than E3. I am actually optimistic about 6 existing in some form right now, but I very much doubt we'll hear anything about it at E3.

I swear if I dig deep enough I can find this exact same thread around this time last year and the year before.

Give it up guys, VF6 will come when it comes. Until then, keep on FS or try something else.

Yep. Pretty much the same here. Virtua Fighter 6 would probably be shown at AOU in Japan, not TGS. TGS is almost all mobile games these days. Seriously Po, you haven't even mastered Final Showdown yet. Concentrate on improving in that, don't worry about VF6.
And PS4 isn't worth having until next year. All the great games( the Division, the Order , Arkham) have been pushed back to 2015.

Sega hasn't shown anything 'new' at E3 for quite some time from memory. I would expect VF to be revealed at an arcade/Japan-centric show first before E3.

Expect Halo part 17 and Cowadoody 2015 at though.

Also I'm sure we still have plenty of life in Final Showdown, yes, but it's still fun to get hyped for more Virtua Fighter goodness :)

Came on here to say that i too am hoping for the same thing, We ALL KNOW that the series is NO LONGER DEAD outside of Japan, right? What with VF5FS releasing on consoles, and VF characters having a crossover in DOA5 games.

Right now it seems that the only way we will get vf6 is if we make it our selfs. Until then keep playing vf5fs, its a good game.

Sega's direction away from making games toward publishing, is disturbing. I don't think any non-Sonic or Non-Yakuza IP is safe, frankly.

Sega's E3 line up this year (Sonic, Miku, Alien) is as anemic and dull as last year's. Everything's done on the cheap and internal game development is almost non-existent.

I wouldn't start panicking yet guys, it's only been what, two years since Final Showdown released on Consoles? I'm still playing FS and finding new players to get into it too. I think VF6 will come eventually.

There was two years between VF4:FT and VF5 after all.

@MadeManG74 Yea but u gotta remember FT never came to consoles and FS has been out 4 years in japan. VF6 imo shouldve came out last year. I hope there not running out of ideas.

Have any of the serious FG been announced on PS4 or XBone?

    If not Y not?

we can understand somewhat Sega and VF's problem, but I haven't heard anything about Tekken, or SC. what about DOA?,

The EA UFC is a total let down.

I can't speak for XBox, but it seems like to me there were far more FG 6 months into the availability of PS1, PS2, and PS3 than what we have for PS4. I probably should go back and check the facts to be sure.

is it that the FG developers are little busy bees working on the PS4 offerings , or will there be no PS4 offerings:rolleyes:

Guilty Gear Xrd is coming to American PS4 and PS3 in the fall. Cross play between systems . It would have been out sooner but arc systems is a small dev team.
