Eileen (Black Book) Strategy?

Anyone willing to write up a strategy for Eileen on the wiki like those for other characters?

 

I'm willing to bet Tricky will go for it. He'll see the thread and respond within the next few hours, I'm sure.

Either him or Sweeptheleg/Sebo. The former more likely than the latter.

It's basically an expansion on the beginner's guide I wrote a few months back. I've played a ton more since then and have a great deal more to add especially in the realms of oki, BT stuff and Zenk flow charts.

I've also been waiting till I can get some quality time in with Ver. C so it isn't outdated.

 

I could contribute in the strategy sections of the guide, if you would like some help there. I'm also a pretty good editor if one is necessary. Anything to further progress Eileen's accessibility.

I'm personally struggling with getting used to her new changes. Though I haven't played against people off-line since I got it so it could just be lag and the crappy xbox controller causing me probs. Her inputs are pretty demanding on that crappy controller.

 

When I was using the controller I used the analog stick. It's pretty good for eileen cause of all those quarter circles. theres no input lag either.

I'm not a pad player so it really might just be I can't get used to the xbox pad. I'll let ya'll know my opinion about input lag when my stick finally gets to me

 

No lag on the pad or the arcade stick. I got a cable connection though so for some it might still get it. My cousin though has basic DSL service and gets no lag what-so-ever when he creates a session.

 

Lag has nothing to do with YOUR connection, per se. If the game has relatively simple mechanics like VF, it's just transmitting hit data, stance, and location data, and the consoles do the rest themselves. It's when the HOST (the one with the better connection) has crappy/interrupted signal that you get lag.

On Halo and such games, however, bullet trajectories have to be sent, player location and direction, grenade explosions/splash damage data, collision and respawning data... There's no reason VF5 should have any lag unless someone has nasty signal. I don't play online games at home because I have dial-up.

 

haha of course no lag on the arcade stick. I was talking about the Analog stick on the 360 controller. I couldnt use the dpad so I used the left analog stick, it was much easier.

got an arcade stick now though

 

yeah herkdawgiii uses the analog stick but my thumb can't reach that far comfortably to get 3,6 out instead of the diagonals. I'll just wait till my stick shows up
