Eileen Blackbook Combos

    Another combo finding:

    If your combo (ending in /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif) sends your opponent into the wall, you can tack on extra damage by refraining from the last /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, instead using /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and then a guaranteed /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif light down attack.

    For example:

    This ending nets more damage than finishing the combo with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. If I remember correctly, it takes the above combo into the 82 damage range (rather than 71/75 for the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif) -- I'll test tonight for a more exact number.

    I assume you can use this ender to boost damage any time your opponent hits the wall in a non-stagger/splat situation, but the above example is what comes up most often for me.

    I don't know about the exhibition vids -- I first saw Gorgeous use it in several of his youtube vids and began applying it then.

    It's a fairly significant damage boost (+10ish dmg), especially considering how far Eileen's crumple combo carries the opponent -- often, if you initiate it at mid-ring or just past mid-ring, it will carry them all the way to the wall. In other words, this opportunity presents itself quite a bit! So we might as well reap the benefits...

    I'm trying to figure out some other combo situations where this will apply -- will post findings if/when I find anything.

    updated first post and added the comments to a combo strat section I added. Getting to have a nice bit of juicy information here. I have noticed that eileen's strings tend to carry her opponents very far. Sometimes it worked against me when my opponent would hit me with a throw that changes spots.

    alright so through making this combo vid I've found that there some mistakes in the wiki, if they're not mistakes someone tell me what i'm doing wrong because it doesn't seem like it still works in ver. C.

    2_3P+KCH > 2P > 6PP6P doesn't work on jef
    2_3P+KPCH > 2P > 6PP6P doesn't work on jeffery
    2_3P+KPCH > 6P+KPP doesn't work on jacky and wolf

    combo # 12 doesn't work but this does
    6P+KPPCH > 6P+KP > 6K for 58 dmg

    combo #18 doesn't work
    combo #32 doesn't work

    Here's a new combo I was inspired to make that really gives me a reason to use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gifP+K more often, that move has czy range. If anyone wants to test out if it works on people other than eileen that'd be cool :cool:. Srider or Sweep do you guys have any setups that involve this move. I don't fully understand the evasive qualities of the move, it seems like it ducks highs but does it duck any mids like our uber shoulder? You two are good at set ups and have good competition to test it out on. :)

    tested with computer set on fastest rise speed side roll, if they TR the stomp won't work so really depends on if your opponent knows to TR this combo or not.

    what exactly is a black book combo?

    also, are there any true combos with staggers in them? or can you get out of a stagger in like 1 frame if you're perfect.

    it's just a combo that's from this book that came out back in Ver. B days which was called the black book. It's in Japanese so people had to translate it to share with us non kanji readers. There is still a section on how to actually play with eileen that no one has been kind enough to put up and would be greatly appreciated if someone would. I can't cuz I can't read it.

    1)For eileen there are no combos that are unavoidable from her staggers, they can all be gotten out of. Not sure about other characters.

    2)No you can't get out of a stagger in 1 frame, but you don't need to since there is no possible followup that executes in 1 frame. With eileen they'd have to get out the stagger in at least 10 frames to be safe.

    There are lots of guaranteed combos from staggers, im not familiar with any of Eileens though. Example of guaranteed staggercombo: Akiras /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif(blocked) -> kuzushi doublepalm. Or Sarahs (flamingo) P+K (low punch sabakied) -> /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif -> /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif -> aircombo. The former is strugglable stagger, the latter isnt, but both are combos.
