How come? Was it slated too much or something? Did you work on the pal release? If so do you know if there have been any other changes made like AI tweeks and stuff? WOuld apreciate that, thanks.

Youre not missing anything anyway. Commentary pretty lame and repetitive.

I think it's utter bs that EU version doesn't have commentary. Overpriced ps3, no commentary, fucked ps2 support, gj.

Yeah it's disappointing they didn't include it.

Sadly, I think it's all due to the localisation process. Same as Shun's redness when drinking, Vanessa's skin exposure (in VF4), etc.

Hmm I thought most Virtua Fighter enthusiasts pre-ordered their copy from Japan, taking advantage of PS3's region-freedom (games only).
I got my copy from Games-asia (free worldwide shipping), they even put a cross in GIFT, which means customs couldn't rape me =)

I've had the game since the 10th of march(PS3 was released the 23rd in EU), I didn't know the EU version lacked commentary, damn.

Maybe Sega was looking at VFDC. So many people dogged the commentary (said that is redundant, simplistic, annoying, etc)
Maybe Sega was just responding to the negative feedback.

Although it could be better, I thought that it was a good first try. I also noticed that as my fighting techniques change the announcer follows it (some what). For example if I'm
using OM alot, or extensive reversals, or back dash alot, the commentary changes a little. Also when there are several consecutive throw escapes from both fighters the commentary changes direction as well.

Sure most of it is repetitive, but about 25%-33% of it has some value.

I hope they keep it in and just improve and give us the choice to listen to it in Japanese.

Well I kinda enjoy the commentary, even the English one...serious!

'That's one to tell the grandkids about!'

    'Hats off to both fighters!'

    'Yako!'
