I was pretty close to buying this but went with separate speaker and receiver setup. If you're looking to upgrade to 7.1 in the future, I suggest you do this and not waste your money on a HTIB system. Regardless, that system sounds great - and I don't think you'd regret buying it if you don't plan on upgrading in the future.

My setup includes the following: Shameless excuse to pimp my system. [IMG]

    Speakers:

Two pairs of Energy C-50 bookshelf speakers: http://www.energy-speakers.com/na-en/products/c-50-overview/

One Energy C-C50 center speaker: http://www.energy-speakers.com/na-en/products/c-c50-overview/

    One Energy ESW-8 subwoofer: http://www.energy-speakers.com/na-en/products/esw-8-overview/

    Receiver:

    Thanks for the info!!!!
Right now I only can afford 5.1, not 7.1.
All the reviews from CNET, AVS, and AMAZON indicate that "Take classic" is the top one choice under $1000, and that's why I'm looking for more detail about this setup. I was focusing on HD-500 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4634310&CatId=3419
But it seems not as good as Energy.

I have one question,Amazon now has this 5.0

    Sub,

    http://www.amazon.com/Energy-ESW-8-Subwo...1671&sr=1-6

    http://www.amazon.com/Energy-ESW-10-Subw...2119&sr=1-9

Which Sub is better?? The last one is 10" but it's the same price as 8". I'm confused about what's the major difference between 200W and 400W?

For the receiver, I'm planning to get this one, Onkyo TX-SR606
