The bad news is that I'm 99% sure this is the same zepp tokyo tournament DVD that gaijin punch painstakingly ripped a while ago. So if you downloaded those clips, this wouldn't have much new except the intermission stuff. Still, if you want to make your own VF4 VCD, and want to see great gameplay (some of it) at monster resolution.. iirc, chibita, mukky, napoleon, segirl, and other notables participated.

21 minutes only???? NOOOOoooooo!!! I'm now at 351 megs and spent the whole of yesterday downlading on my 56k! For those who have seen it, is it worth spending another day downloading it when I could be getting more jpop videos ? /versus/images/icons/frown.gif

 

One minute of VF4 is better than a lifetime worth of J-pop anything!

 

I will not comment on the quality of the matches, as I didn't spend good time watching them because of the problem I will mention a little bit later. Also, I think most of the matches (If not all) are from the Japan National Tourney we saw a long time ago.

The problem with the clips though is, the gameplay moves slow while music is normal speed. So it basically sucks. It may just be my PC, but some other people seemed to have similar problems as well. Also, the clip is meant to be burnt and played as a VCD I think, hence the huge size.

i dont have any problems with sound. all is working just right. think that rip is nice, specially cuz almost half of the contestants were playing with wolf (my fav)

 

it works on mine and the sound/etc is in sync (N'SYNC!)... but even with a pretty good video card, it still hitches every few seconds. That kind of resolution/bitrate was not meant to be played well on a typical PC I guess.

The matches incidentally are good, but nothing we haven't seen before. The aoi... Rankan? is quite a character.

 

I'm wondering if there's any freeware .avi editting programs out there ? The first AVI is a hefty 720 MB, which is hard to burn into a CD-R.... /versus/images/icons/frown.gif

Sigh... does anyone have anything to recommend ? The few AVI choppers I used doesn't seem to be able to cut the file into the portions that I need to "resize" the file... /versus/images/icons/frown.gif

 

The best (and only IMHO) AVI editor worth using is 100% free.
