One thing that isn't mentioned in a lot of strategies for playing specific characters (exceptions I can think of the strats for Jeff's throws here and long deleted guides to DS Vanessa/Jeffry for Vanilla [lol, sorry]) are the win-win situations your throws can put you in whether or not your throw lands, like Vanessa doing [P][+][G] to ring out to her back, but if it is escaped the opponent is still rung out.

To answer a specific question from the discord here is a compiled list (not 100% complete) I wrote up in some docs a while ago. There will probably be errors in all but the Jeffry section so it's up to the players of other characters to flesh out/correct anything.

    Things to note:

    1. ST (Sideturned) situation almost always results in you being swung about 90ish degrees toward the opponent's stomach, though the distance between you and the opponent will vary based on the specific throw that was escaped.
    2. Not listed in detail are all the specifics to escaped side throws as some animations are different can have different uses. The only consistent rule for side throws being escaped is you have +2.
    3. Unless stated otherwise, the escaped throws will work the same way on Taka.

Expanding on the strategy part of this post I will only address Jeffry, who is pretty unique as his primary big damage throws don't put him in ST like most of the cast.

Super unique and overlooked to the point of being practically unknown is Wall [6][P][+][G] if escaped gives you +5(!) (and leaves you both parallel to the wall) which is something that I don't think exists anywhere else. Which means you can beat out all non-reversal/sabaki/inashi techniques with you quick mids or beat their evade away from the wall with your half circulars.

If the edge is to the opponent's back, either Half-Circle throw rings out forward if escaped, as does [4][6][P][+][G]/[4][P][+][G]. [6][2][4][P][+][G] has pretty far forward ringout range if escaped due to the fact the opponent vaults away from you, but this is negated only by Taka, where he pushes you away instead.

[1][P][+][G]/[4][6][P][+][G][4][P][+][G] being escaped gives you a massive amount of space and opponents who do an immediate stubby attack can be whiff punished by a [3][3][P]/[4][2][6][P][+][K], or if they dash in/use a longer ranged attack, a [4][4][3][P][P] can cover a lot of bases.

And now it's your turn to post stuff for your own characters and hopefully we can collectively add more to the knowledge pool.
