Eternal Sunshine

Thought this was a great film. Fantastic performances from Jim Carey and Kate Winslet. I think Carey has set himself up for a slew of more serious roles after this excellent performance.

Loved the whole concept too, and the way past events were presented and contrasted with the mind erasure procedure. Also liked the way it was shot, very cold and stark for an American movie, which gave it a realistic edge.

Anyway, I’d recommend it, and not just for couples.

 

I have to agree with you in saying it was a fantastic film. I absolutely love Michael Gondry's music video work and glad he directed this film. Plus, I'm very eager to see more of Charlie Kaufman's work. The only other film that I've seen that he has written was Adaptation which I also thought was a wonderful flick.

Oh, and I can surely say that Jim Carey can no longer be typecasted as the goofy comedian noodle from his earlier stuff thanks to this film. Kudos to Kate Winslet and Kirsten Dunst for their performances as well.

 

Good film... Kind of bizarre, but that was how it was supposed to be.

Bring back Ace Ventura please, lol...

It would satisfy my inner child.
