Euro Champs May 19-26th !!!

Details have been finalized, and the date for the Gathering is set to <font color=red>May 19th-26th</font color=red> in <font color=red>Copenhagen, Denmark</font color=red>.

Location will be a little friendly arcade 15 mins out of the Copenhagen center where the arcade VF3ob machine will be on free play, and a DC VF3tb set up with a projector to a white screen for easy viewing and possibly filming. There will be little or no playing costs. Games will largely be free-for-all fun style, likely with a one-day tourney of some kind one of the days.

The gathering will be attended by 7 players from London, UK, incl. Ryan Hart, perhaps the most ruthless gamer this side of the chinese wall, along with super friendly - and also quite, quite deadly - old chums like "The Prince" Hatim and "PK-cancel" Roy, who wooed audiences of VF vets and casual passerby's at the London Showdowns with theirs absolutely dazzling play (I am actually not kidding about that). Also attending will be yours truly, who is going to be in for a very tough time defending his "I can hold my own against anyone" statement, even with it's Ryan-clause, along with my sparring partner thru countless years and platforms and games, Wiqas "MightyButt". GLC from poland will be over for most of the time also, along with perhaps a scrub or two from Sweden

This post is mainly for the benefit of anyone out there, esp. from across the pond, who might consider coming. I can guarantee that the level of playing will be as high as it gets anywhere, and both the great ppl in the list of attendees and the lovely climate, very sexy females displaying their outfits (or lack thereof) on the world's longest walking street, and really everything else in Copenhagen in general will ensure that a great time will be had by anyone who should feel like participating.

Accomodation is very cheap at http://www.sleepinheaven.com, about $12/£9 per night. There are ofcourse countless hotels also, typically in the US$40-50 per night price range for singles, slightly more for doubles. Other hostels and such exist also, but the aforementioned one seems like the best solution. If they're booked or someone for some reason can't stay there, I will ofcourse help solve the problem; if everything else fails one can always crash at my place.

An opportunity like this only comes up once in a lifetime, so if you're a diehard VF3 fan and want to test yourself against the best while vacationing in one of the nicest locations in Northern Europe, you owe it to yourself to go!

Fucking thing that poor nascar has got university -stress till the begining of july, no way that I can miss a week!! And I'm also out of money,fuck!! That would have been nice to get / give some ass-kicks to/from other VF-fanatics. well when I finished this fuck, i hopefully can choose when I want to have holidays. Oh there will be other opportunities i'm sure and till that day arrives old nascar will keep on practicing ...(often alone, but that will change with VF4)

So..... Americans, Japanese, Koreans, whatever nationality you are, you're invited. However I'm warning you that you'll be up against some of the WORLD's most lethal VF players, this is no joke, here in the UK we've seen the standard of play in America through various movies posted here and stuff, and the standard is pretty good, I also remember Gnug's TREMENDOUS skill, and Wiqas's mind games when they came over to the UK a few years ago. So we are going there in May to sort them out once and for all. Anyone else who wants to get sorted out too, should join us because this might be your last chance.

Apart from that...IT'S GOING TO BE GREAT FUN!!!!!

 

Oh my how lucky for me, I live in Copenhagen! Is that the arcade in Glostrup? I didn't know there was a VF3tb machine in Denmark. (Or is "ob" no typo and means original battle?)

Gnug315 do you live in Copenhagen as well? Where and with whom do you usually get together to play VF? I need to play with people on a regular basis, otherwise I'll get stuck on my current skill level.

I can personally attest to the skill level of Ryan, whom I met and played twice with in Japan. It's very high and certainly comparable to the best that the U.S. has to offer.
