Euro VF Gathering in Amsterdam, 29-30 August, 2009

I'll ask Plague to edit the post.

It depends on what you want to do. If you want to go out, or see the city, it'd be best to stay in the city center. If you just want to play VF and maybe have us tour you around the city, then you could try to get a place to stay close to the venue.

I think most of the cheap places are around the city center, though, and since it's easy to get to the venue from there, I'd just go with that.

The city center is basically anything around the area between the Leidseplein and Central Station.

I think it's safe to say at this point that - as I feared - I won't be able to participate in this event. Money is a bit scarce these days.

Anyway, have fun everyone and try to record a lot of vids there.

I'm not going to be able to make this unfortunately as I have to go to Germany for work then. Everyone, have a good time.

 

A good friend of mine is going to marry and we do his bachelor party at that weekend...im sry but i won`t be able to come around.
Nevertheless i still want to go to Amsterdam some other time...maybe we could do some casuals then. Have fun!

The meeting is coming up, so we need to start placing sidebets on the moneymatches, reserve hookers in the red light district (I've already reserved the chocolate goddess with the mole on her left cheek that has a window behind the porncinema) and know when everyones arriving so we can get together.

Bob, Jeneric, Marlyjay, MP_Lupin, Beligerent Feck and Mister are our foreign guests that are coming with 100% certainty, so what's your status boys!!

Well, btw i'm trainig hard with my friend DWR (he joined vfdc some days ago following my advice). I'm really excied to visit Amsterdam and play VF5 with many other people with the same passion i have i just played in live with 3 or 4 guys and in real life online with one guy.
Unfortunately i didn't convice DWR and Hittakara to come because they didn't have the money :S. But we startet a project togheder. Stay tuned in futur for new information

 

Okay guys, I don't think anyone other than the people confirmed are gonna be showing up, so I just created some groups!

We have 13 people showing up (Fulan is showing up, but he doesn't play VF anymore, so he doesn't want to play in the tourney). I divided the players into two groups, it's easier to seed the players that way.

Group 1:

- MarlyJay
- Masterpasje
- Akebueno
- Spoon
- Craven

Group 2:

- Bob
- Beligerent Feck
- NGKrush
- Monkeypunch
- Mister
- Vortigar

I also made a bracket, so everyone can comment on it now. If there's no comments, it will be used for the tourney, so we won't have to spend time thinking about how we have to fill it in.



I just kinda went by what I thought were the best players, no offense to anybody.. If you guys don't agree with these groups, let me know. Just be advised that these groups don't really matter all that much, since everyone will be placed on the bracket, the groups are just there to determine the seeding.

Just ~1.5 week left! If you guys could PM me your arrival times, we can come pick you up from the airport and help you find the place where you're staying!
