evade and punish

For real, does this chic have any good moves to do after an evade, i find myself just doing dmp+k b/c i have no idea of a good move to punish off of. Seriously, with lei fei there is floaters etc...with pai, i just don't know.

I'm not familiar with Pai at all but that's my best guess.

 

i'm familiar with that floater, but it doesn't land too often after evade. usually just gets blocked and leave me at a disadvantage that is undesirable.

You don't necessarily have to do one specific thing to punish on a evade. You can punish with whateva you like. The is VF5.Theres no perfect way to do anything. JUST DO IT!!!

BTW go to the Dojo and look for the moves.

there is always PK4 also to give yourself some basic adv. to work with.

on a side note: if your having trouble connecting with/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, try buffering it into a crouching backdash, if you can catch an oppenent whiffing or dashing towards you can land it as a counter hit, works more often than not

 

Pai's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gifK or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif crumples on a side hit if the enemy doesn't respond to being turned to their side or if pai sidesteps around an attack. I actually landed the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif after the a sidestep a few times. I am actually trying to practice using her other /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif moves after a sidestep as well. If an enemy watches pai sidestep they will be hit by the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif when they expect the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif MC instead.

but depends what you are evading. if it's a low attack then..

swallow /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif

 

Dumb question here, but......
whats the difference b/w 9k and 9k+g (swallow kicks). I would assume nothing, but in all the combo lists it always lists it as 9 k+g......when on the commmand list its 9k

obviously you follow either one up with k, for 9kk, 9k+gk

 

9k+g executes one frame sooner than 9k (14 instead of 15). So, if you do 3p+g you can land 9k+g,k guaranteed. If you try 9kk, you can be blocked for big damage.

 

what's with sega doing something like that. Making a move look exactly he same but execute a frame faster by adding the K+G instead of just K. They do i with eileen's 9K+G too. I just don't get it.

SMB I'll mess with this in dojo and in player. Side-crumple would be ideal, since it turns pai into Hulk Hogan. I was always in the habbit of the standard DMp+k and DM > k > float combo but they are weaker than the crumple if we can find one. I'm sure someone good is going to weigh in with the obvious side-crumple option that I have been missing for a year and make me look like a retard, but that's the risk I take every time I post... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

 

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif clearly isnt a while-jumping kick. with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, you need a frame for the button to be let go in order to distinguish it from /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif.
