Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. Every modern successful Fighting Game has one or more significant Single Player Modes:cool:

There are no modern successful Fighting Games that are Online Only 2 or more players required:holla:

There are no modern successful Fighting Games that are 2 player only Offline:sneaky:

Every modern successful Fighting Game is not only fun for intermediate or advanced players but is also fun for new players, and casual players:whistle:

Fact: There are successful Fighting games that have significant Single Player modes with no online component(e.g. VF4, VF3tb, VF6, Tekken 4, SC 2, SC3, MK, etc). There will be new Fighting Games that come out that are only Single Player e.g. SIFU in 2022.

Although VF5US have exceeded the RGG's expectations, keep in mind VF5US had a very low bar in the first place, it came with PS Plus for free. If VF5US had cost what Tekken 7, DOA 6, Soul Calibur 6 , GG cost when they were first released, it would not have exceeded RGG's expectations.

If VF5US does not ultimately provide fun Single Player content for new players and casual players, the number of players online will dwindle each month, until the player base of VF5US will only consist of a small obscure niche VF die-hards:(

On the other hand if VF5US which is really just a big Online Mode goes on to thrive and succeed without adding Fun Significant Single Player content and Offline content then it would be the first modern Fighting Game to do so.

I guess we shall soon see:cautious: I wonder if SIFU will be a game changer:ninja:
