EVO Akira beard/goatee: where/how?

I once fought an Akira who had a beard/goatee on his face. Wow. Cool. How do I get it? Is it obtainable from completing quest orders or something?

I've just got it from a golden chest during a versus fight.
By the way, I think it's called "stubble" or something.

Yes I got mine after doing a starred quest and I know someone who got it after doing a tourney at the event square.It seems like there aren't that many hard and fast rules to winning specific items other than curse items and arcade items.In effect there are multiple ways of obtaining some items it seems...
