1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Alright everyone in Louisiana (both of you), I have some good news/bad news for you. At Game Ware in the new mall (Mall of Louisiana) in BR there is an EVO machine. Unfortunately because this machine was put together from a kit (sega sends you the hardware/software to put in an existing cabinet) and the guy setting up the kit hadn't the foggiest idea what was up, the buttons are way to freaking far apart...essentially unplayably far apart...there's like an inch separating each button...I know this might not sound bad but it is...my hand still hurts. Also the sticks are bat sticks, which may or may not disturb you. Anyway...I'm going to get in touch with whoever put the machine together and we are going to fix the problem, even if it means me doing all the work myself.
    I'll keep you all posted.

    Not if you drive fast!

Besides with that brand new carpal tunnel of yours, those buttons are probably right up your alley /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

Oh...thanks for the well wishing...I'm motivated & optimistic, for whatever it's worth.

Has there been any progress? I still haven't made it over to gameware to try it out and I probably won't until after christmas when traffic isn't as bad.

It took me a few sessions but I eventually managed to cope with the spacing of the buttons...I haven't yet gotten in touch with the right person about all of this but for the time being everyone has just adapted...I still want those ball sticks too.

I kinda prefer the bat sticks. All of the SC2 machines around here have bat sticks, so I've gotten well adjusted to those, but the cheap little acsiiware stick I use at home for my recently aquired VF4 has a ball so I'm getting fairly well adjusted to that too.

I finally made it over there to play the game. That layout is unplayable. I'll wait for the home release.
