    Just some random thoughts...

I played some Evo last weekend and, correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems as though his [6][P],[K] hits the same just has different animation...

His [6][K] also seems to be a lifter - how is it different than the knee? What are some good combos to do after it?

They took away the punch, kick after the beatknucle... beatknuckle, punch kickflip seems to drain decent amount...

What's good to do after his [4][K][G] now that he doesn't have the double sidekick deal...

Also, glad to see they changed his weakass bulldog throw into some face punching goodness haha...

[6][K] only lifts on a Mc

    his knee replacement is [3][3]+[K]

combo wise...i will get off my ass n do one list for vfdc as soon as i finish thinking abt ninja stuff.

I didn't know about the [3][3]+[K] ... Does it recover like the knees?

Suggested combos off of floats would be great... Jacky still seems to be great about throwing out jabs, etc getting your opponet to lock for the mid stagger or the throw... but I don't know any good cobos to do off of a lift...

    thanks,

Tonight I played with a few moves of jacky's. His [3][3]+[K] acts as his knee replacement, yes. Also his [8]+[K]+[G] isn't unfair its semi-circular, dodge to his front.

[6][6]+[K]- is only throw counterable now if you don't go BT. Going BT involves hitting [4] during the animation.

BKC- The same only without the canned [K] at the end. You must juggle with kickflip in closed. And my personal favorite in open now is [P]+[K],[P].....[P]'s depending on weight class and F,F+k, hard to TR and can leave you BT'd with good followup opportunity along with a escape method like nailing [P][K][G] for canned backdash to faceforward, and also canned attacks such as a Mid-kick(Bruce Lee style) and (Bil Jei)a High move that staggers much like lions NEW just frame on hit, only problem is his Bil Jei is High, lol that rhymed.

Hit throw d/f+p+k- isn't throw counterable, I'd say around -6 or -7 maybe. I'll use it when I remember, or when I'm trying to get out of a throw. It's extremely fast execution, and -6 or 7. Good move.

Jacky's Throw game has been increased. Jacky lost 5 points on his [6],[4]+[P]+[G] but his [6][6]+[P]+[G] is now a valid throw to hit someone with, and if they aren't fast enough you can get a [3]+[K], mind you its not garaunteed =).

Also mind you his elbow is now labelled a MID-"PUNCH", it's no longer a elbow =). So now they can't complain right? lol.

Jacky can also go into shuffle step after MORE moves now, which is just too damn cool. Now [6]+[P]+[K] is a usable move aside from using in juggles. You can Instant shuffle or shuffle after it and also [K],[P], Shuffle works too! Anything that is kick counterable can now legitamitely be used for [K],[P], Instant shuffle Iageri Combos! /versus/images/icons/grin.gif Oh YEAH!

Jacky's animations are all changed up now, don't let them fool you, HE's VERY similar to VER C. The only real problem I'm having to deal with is going between VER C and EVO jacky's Knee and Knee replacement. And also his d/f+k is good for a while until your opponent gets used to the different animation. Then its just a good range mid move thats reasonably fast =). For those jacky players out there, this is a good time to take on a secondary character. Jacky is virtually UNCHANGED, maybe even toned UP! =) and we all love that! YEAH!!

Anyway I hope everyone is enjoying EVO! And hopefully can make it to Florida some time =).

Thanks for the post Blonde One, I knew you'd have some good advice... I'll let you know how it works out...
I'll be sure to try his knee replacement this time, along with the [P][K] shuffle and more...

I was a bit disappointed they changed his [2]+[K][P] which I would use on occasion to chip that list bit of life away... Now he does the fake into two high punches it seems not as surprising...

Rich and I would like to go to Florida some time to meet all you guys, maybe I can convince the folks that we should get away for winter break /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

[6][P][K] is no longer like the old elbow kick. The new [6][P][K] is more linear. Sheeshh... I mean completely linear.

The [6][P] is considered a punch attack which is crap, IMNSHO. The follow up [K] is not even tracking.

IMO, the old elbow kick is definitely better. At least, the heel kick from the old elbow kick was 1/2 circular. /versus/images/icons/frown.gif

On the other hand, u can do some combos with the new [6][P][K] like [8][K][G] -> [P] -> [6][P][K]. His new [8][K][G] is a pretty good move. 1/2 circular I think.
