1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. Question, when will VF4 Evo be conferted to PS2 ?
Answer, No anouncement yet when we can expect a home version of VF4 Evo and for what system it might be, please await a formal anouncement from Sega .

Well this seems like the most obvious direction. So many people own a PS2. Personally, I wish to see Evo on the Xbox. Sony has had their chance and while AM2 managed to convert the gameplay I was disappointed with the weak textures and jaggies of the PS2 conversion of Ver C. How well will the PS2 handle Evo which has even better graphical features then it's predecessor.

When you have a game like VF which has such a high standard of gameplay, all that's left really is the presentation. Xbox can paint a better picture, to me it's as simple as that. I'm crossing my fingers for a multiplatform release like Soul Caliber 2. At least that way the consumer has a choice.

Yah, me want on XBox .
Only system that can compete with Naomi2 .
Beach Spikers on GC has textures worse then the arcade version and is missing the odd polygon here and there so that aint an option either for arcade exact or even improved graphics .

Personally, I want it on all consoles so that more people get exposed to virtua fighter. But, I would be pissed off if it's doesn't come to the ps2 at all, as the primary reason I bought one was for virtua fighter. I'm not willing to spend another $300 for a different console.

If you noticed I was from Toronto then you would know that the $300 was Canadian currency.

I would guess more likely when Sega refines EVO to at least C version before converting it to console. That's my guess anyway and hopefully we're happy with it.

That Dengeki article is just babble. There's lots of "what if's" and whatnot in japanese game magazines. They're assuming that any sequel will be on the PS2, and are wondering when it'll come out, as Ver. C was announced for PS2 before the arcade version was out.

According to Dengeki Online, the chance of VF2 EVO console version on PS2 is very high.

Very high? That statement from Sega was so non-commital, I wouldn't even pay any attention to it. They didn't even say if Evo will be ported to any system yet.

While I would agree that the chance of it coming out on the PS2 is very high, that article says nothing about it. Fact is, they'll sell a lot more units on the PS2 -- period.
