Hey guys, back from London.

Good to hear that Evo is finally here!! I don't know when I'll get the time to go play, but where exactly is Bedok Funland? What would you tell a taxi driver to get there?

 

Jeff, it is beside the arcade where we played VF3TB before, remember? There is an Indian cinema and a McDonald restaurant beside it.

If you are taking a cab, maybe you can ask the driver to stop at either Tampines Rover FC fan club or Geylang FC fan club (if they know where they are). Both are less than 5mins walk away from Bedok Funland.

Sorry, I just arrived today late afternoon. Last night I was on the plane from London to Singapore...and what a bumpy flight that was.

 

Manage to play Lion all by myself yesterday afternoon (Sunday). Try all the new moves... pretty cool stuff to use... especially ,+ move... BUT.. at 2 credits for 2 squares is a bit expensive /versus/images/icons/frown.gif

Did an area search for Evo in the north part of Singapore.

Results :
Ang Mo Kio Funland - no Evo. ( as at 12/10/02 )
Yishun Funland - GOT Evo. ( as at 14/10/02 )

YISHUN FUNLAND HAD GOT EVO and it is only 1 credit. 50 cents for 2 rounds. Computer level very hard. Joystick condition for 2P very good. As for 1P, I never try but I got feel it and it should be pretty good as well. Well, the only bad thing is the size of the funland. Its quite small and cramp.

Plus : The Bedok Malay supervisor can go and suck his dick liao. His attitude is fucked-up. If you wanna know why, ask me the next time you see me.

I went and played Evo tonight at Bedok. Spent $10 trying a few characters. The sticks are indeed quite bad (have trouble with CD modified moves) but not so bad to the point of being unplayable. It's ridiculously expensive, but did you guys notice that the monitor is high rez?

I'll probably check out Yishun tomorrow night, if I have the time. It's Yishun 10 right?

 

AMK dun have evo?? I though AMK used to be on of the main
branch of Funland... I can't wait to go back to Singapore.
The Evo here in US is like shit. The joystich sucks but
never mind, I don't care as I cannot do complicated moves
anyway, but the button layout is a one STRAIGHT line so
you cannot use your thumb.

Now is my examination period so will go less often. After 04/11/02, you can find me at Yishun funland almost everyday unless there are better bargains elsewhere.
