yah, completely random subject, but sometimes i like TEing just coz the animations are fun to watch ^^

some are pretty basic like kage's TFT, infact most of the standard p+g are'nt that satisfying either... sometimes a whole leik 10 second rally of throw escapes are always memorable highlights of a match, especially when your opponent has alot of options of mixing throw commands about (i.e jeffry who has the options of [4],[1],[2],[3] AND[6])

low throws especially are fun to escape like jeff's [2_][6]+[P]+[K]+[G] or aoi's [2]+[P]+[K]+[G] has a nice little animation to it /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

my top five TE animations are:
    - lion's HCB+p+g
    - lei's p+g
    - pai's DDT (ver.c)
    - lion's side throw
    - jeffry's tripple knee low throw

anyone else find it as satsfying watching TE animations? /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Jacky's side throw. (animation where opp. hops up to avoid kick) I always get a chuckle out of that one. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I particularly like the TE for Shun's hit/throw. The escapee launches him halfway across the screen! It sets up a 50/50; but it's very entertaining to watch. Also, unless I'm seeing things, there are two different TE animations for certain throws. Example: Wolf's drop toe hold side throw (a.k.a. sliding leg scissors), and Jeffry's arm breaker side throw. I could swear I've seen them both escaped 2 different ways. Other cool TE's: Lei's [P]+[G], Jacky and Wolf's [3][P]+[G] (same TE).

shun's b+P+G is also my fave I think.
when lei fei escapes another lei fei P+G throw, you get the usual nifty animation, plus lei screams "KA KAWW".
akira's headbutt throw (db, f+P+G) when escaped has a completely unique hawaaAAUGHH shout and the way he throws up his hands is pretty funny.
It's funny to see wolf's catch get escaped and wolf takes a weak elbow to the jaw.
If anyone hasn't seen it, treat yourself to pai's chicken (reversal reversal).
I thought it was pretty rad to see jacky's f,f+P+G escaped for the first time (clotheslines, but you duck and he lands on his ass). In an old movie someone escapes his back throw by doing the same thing and it's kind of hilarious.

Escaping Akira's [4][6] is nice. I gotta second (third...whatever) escaping Shun's [4] & the closeline throw of Jacky. My two personal favorites to get in matches are escaping Lau's side throw & Vane's [3][3] because (inbred play!) the escapes become apparent really LATE in the animation (esp. when Lau is in the foreground & obscures my char).

Wolf's Leg Scissor Side Throw escape where you flip over his feet.

Jeff's Knee Sidethrow escape when you block it with your hands but he still tries to force you.

Pai's Stumbling Trip Escape when she falls on her butt.

Kage's Thigh Grab Escape when you hop out on one leg.

Lau's P+G Escape when you flip over his shoulders.

You want to see something really cool? Escape Wolf's catch using Jeffry; immediately after Jeffry does the "weak" elbow to Wolf's Jaw, do a machine gun hammer. If you're fast enough, the elbow to the jaw and the machine gun hammer blend together perfectly; and the elbow actually looks like it's part of the throw. Also, if you TE Jeff's machine gun hammer, he's wide open for a side throw.
