    Ok, I am wanting to add more style and difficulty to my Lau game. What are some of your favorite Lau combos that do not use any of his canned combos? I'm looking for stuff that is more timing and spacing important. I'm tired of playing him in a very scrubby fashion. Thanks.

    for floats, the best damage comes from canned... maybe for variety you can do float --> upknife-spkn -> low kick.
    In evo I've seen upknife-spkn --> elbow-palm --> upknife-spkn.
    Another cute style combo is stumbling trip --> b,f+P --> d+P --> f+K+G

    stance specific's? Lau only has one stance? or are you refering to open and closed stance? i dont pay attention to that much, what exactly does it effetct , reach? could someone please give a good example/explanation and maybe a way to follow it during a fight, thanks!

    I think he's referring to open and closed stance. It basically boils down to foot position. At any given time, you will either have your left or right foot forward. If you can see both player's backs (or fronts) at the same time, that's open stance. The opposite is (obviously) closed. It's slightly easier to throw an opponent in closed stance because you're closer.

    For Lau:

    [4][6][P], [P] [4][P] [P] works in closed,

    [4][6][P], [2][P], [2_][3][P] [P]+[K] works in open

    Peace....
