Hi all, just want to say that VF4 EVO is finally in trocadero on back to back machines.

(I'm going tonight to have a bash, anyone care to join me? If so, I'll see you there)

Tournament Details: UK Feet Bribe Vol.3

Date: 18th October 2003

Time: 2.00pm

Entry Fee: None

System: 2 on 2 knockout battle

Partners will be randomly picked!

Late entrants welcome providing there is still space in the tournament.

Event will be filmed too!!! VHS tapes will be available. I still have the last Feet Bribe on tape. Post here if you want copies and I will bring them with me to the 2 on 2 tourney. I am also putting the very first feet bribe on the same tape as well as a bonus!

Hmm, I might come just to watch, lol. Arcades are expensive to play. Trocadero too which means a quid a go, like omg!

Back to back is cool tho. Oh yea, I'd like a copy of the VHS too ^-^

Oh my dayz!!! I am there definitely for the tourni, about time they got them dam machines sorted!! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I'm gonna try to make it down there tommorow during the afternoon if my ankle lets me (Major sprainage goin on!!), lets hope peeps will be there for challenges.
Cmon Rage just bring a pound, you gotta at least challenge a few times!!
Edit: Oh yeah they've moved the cabs since last time anyone wanna point me in the right direction/floor?

thx for the heads up Ryan. ill be down tonite in about an hour or so. yes theyve changed the set up again, not near the wall no more its oposite the cinema, just look for the virtua cop3 then look left and up! near the gamble arcades!

i wish too, i have a vf.net card that i wanna use, lol.

btw, i'm kindda broke right now, so i'm not entirely sure about a tourney, mabye i'll watch. have fun peeps.

for the record, there is no way to play vfnet cards here!
in japan the game is on a gd rom disc linked up to the net, the world version is a rom board, so there is no items an what not on it!
anyways was good last nite
super turbo an sf3 was giving out free credits! haha

well i went last nite, played "Mike" a v v good tag player, and he beat my kage!!! but i have to stress the stick near the wall is soo stiff!!! couldnt evade an take this piss moving around! so mans had to use lau! still no comand thows working but blaytanly beet him with a perfect! rags!
im to used to evo sticks now
laus p+k charge takes TINGS!!! haha
dont know how many times i use that move an not get hit

I just got back, sorry you guys (arch and Raging) I was runing late!
All I can say is this is the first time in my life I have to rate trocadero!! Perfect place to put the machine, nice aircon, lovely brand new sticks!!(just a bit stiff at the mo, give it a few weeks) and correct button layout for once. And whats that I see Clean Carpet and nice Chairs!!!!
The only fault was the timer was 30 secs not tourni standard 45.
Me and Vosor had around 15 matches, pretty even, including a 4 win streak against his vanessa with my Wolf /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif, and he had a 3 win streak with.....Jacky /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I didn't have that much problem with imput cause it feels just like my Dreamcast stick, after a few weeks or a month they will be perfect though trust!
I'll be back there tommorow with a few other peeps from 2p.m so all you London mans turn up!!
IU'll also be looking for some ssf2 turbo challenges /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

hehe it's funny cos me and Archangel both ran into Vosor at the Train station on the way home from Uni. We told him u'd be at the Troc. Lol. sounds like we set u up, lol. No sweat. I'm busy tomoz but I'll hopefully have cash for next weeks trny. I'll play a few games but I doubt I'll have enuff cash for the trny itself.

ahh but did u play the stick near the wall??? sounds like with the ait con talk you didnt, its on full blast on the good one, ie not near the wall

 

the tourney sounds awesome sir! i won't be able to make it seeing as i'll be working until 5pm, but i'll come afterwards for casual.. although i'll probably end up playing ggxx or st or 3s instead hehehe.

by the way ryan, if it's no entry fee, how will the matches be funded? by folks own pockets?

and as a p.s to Random.. vf.net cards CAN be used in other countries, but not for customising characters.. just to record wins. i believe there is a machine in north america set up like this.

 

i know of the card set up in LA, but whats the point if it aint hooked up to the net? they most likely go tthe gd rom version anyways, this one is the rom board!
