FFX-2 60hz Question

Will the european version of FFX-2 be in 50hz again!? I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE!! I WANNA PLAY MY MARVELOUS GAME IN 60HZ!!!!! I just hope Square-enix puts a nice soft and cute option similar to vf's one. "Do you want to play in 50 hz, or 60hz?". Ahhh, that would be great..(would be..).

It may just be me, but Yuna has her breasts bigger than her twin...I think...BTW, check out the intro. I swear: IT ROCKS. Not only the FMV, after hearing/seeing it something like 5 times, I started to like the music =P.

That video is pretty good, but i wish they left out showing the gameplay from the game. I can't believe they made Yuna into a popstar thats kind of odd. It was a good video though.

Lightning, you should've noticed by the end of FFX that she was kinda "turning" into a "crazy" girl =P. There's even the "bikini video" in which Rikku's trying to see both Paine and Yuna's breasts while they're taking a bath =P. Still, Yuna's Spira's Heroine, so she had got be a singer! Honestly, she's that kind of singer from girls band, if you know what a mean. The difference is: there's only a girl and two guys in the back doing the rest of the coreography LOL.

Sadly.... all the previews/import reviews are claiming that FFX-2's story is crap. The only hope I have is for the battle system, but I've heard contradicting reports on that too ...

Well... I'm just excited about FFXII ... look at the people working on it!

Japanese people are loving the game, as it is the game with the best soundtrack in the world. In my opinion, and because I love japanese music, I agree. And this game is more action based, not story (altough the story's funny too, at least better than FF VIII which sucked big time). Because the game's action-based, I'm worried about the 50hz thingie..I don't want an action-based game in slow motion!! You should see my tidus in my FFX, he runs at the speed of!!...turtle..I mean, it's the same thing as playing vf in 50hz, for those who've done it, they know what I mean..It's a nightmare. Imagine Lion: iiiittt'sss aaaa maaaatttteeerrr ooooffff couuuuuuurrrrrssseee-iiiiii aaaaammm ggggggooooonnnnaaaa wiiiiiiinnnn

Trust me: it's not funny..

understandable about the hertz thing... at worse you'd have to buy a US PS2...

I know Japanese gamers are eating it up... it's just that I want a change. The last 3 or 4 Final Fantasy games have been pretty similar in character design and story. I want something that's really DIFFERENT... like Vagrant Story was, or FFTactics was.

Vagrant Story had one of the best narratives I've ever seen. I love that story. FFTactics also had a very interesting story with a lot of subplots and politics. I'm just hoping for a change =)

Yes definately Yuna's twin...but shes not real you know.Any way yes I saw that vid when the game was released over in japan a while back its absolutely amazing and the lip syncing is perfect in japanese.

I dunno, it's really difficult to tell it's her twin...they should have done something a bit more proper for the genre and given her a goatee so we could tell she was a twin more easily. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Many people have been saying that FFX-2 is being made solely for the fanservice crowd. It has lots of T&A, but lacks the story depth of many of the previous titles.

You forgot to metion the massive great borders which make the graphics look squashed and horrible.This and the slow gameplay also ruin what is still one of the best and most skillful action games around Devil May Cry.

I have DMC. Is it in 50hz TOO?!?!?! GAHHH!!! NOW I SEE WHY THE GAMEPLAY WAS SO SLOW COMPARED TO THE JAPANESE FOOTAGE!! I HATE EUROPE!!

But that's made by a different developement team within Capcom with no involvement from Shinji Mikami and it's supposed to well inferior. I think it's a bit like TTT to T4

It's a real shame DMC 1 was released before Capcom decided to put a 60hz mode in all their games. Square on the other hand just don't care enough about Europe so I wouldn't expect a 60hz mode for any of their games.

IMHO I wouldn't call it an infereor game.Theres more depth to it ( loads of levelling up to be done and weapons to be found ) and more unlockables ( also 2 discs ) plus the actions great.However it is rather easy and quite short more like a kinda quick action movie experience.Also the story is not as well played out as in DMC 1.I played DMC 1 to death and ..well was slightly dissapointed by DMC2 I suppose.

btw Onimusha 2 has 60Hz mode where its predesor didn't as well.Looks like capcom ARE aiming to make PAL games better ( though it is quite old ).
