So each match will be first to win 5 rounds? If thats the case it could give Shun players an advantage since they could potentially accumulate more drink points throughout the match. I think it would be a better idea just to keep each match at 3 rounds as this is the tournament standard.

First, I suggest making it three out of five games, three out of five rounds. Second, how are you going to determine the winner between these seven players? Is this a tournament of some kind, or a round robin? I suggest using the room idea to keep the event first come first served but once you have those players in the room, make a bracket on challonge.com or somewhere similar for everyone to work with. I suggest coordinating through the shoutbox at the time.

Personally I think a round robin between the players could keep confusion down, but it will take some time. A double elimination tournament will take time as well, though. This is why Akai caps his online events at around six people.

Good luck with this idea though.

step 1: you sign up, make a user name, all of that
step 2: you click 'new tournament'
step 3: you fill out info on the following page(s) to create your own bracket

ok, I think I misread your question.

in the URL spot, you add anything you want so that people can link themselves to the bracket. It should work as long as you are available.

did i answer the right question this time?

I prefer first come first served format without holding reservations. You don't even know if you have eight people interested in this, though I'm guessing there probably are.

It's spelled "loser." If you lose, you're a loser, if you untighten your shoe laces, they're looser. English can be dumb.

Well the first come first swerve format is people being quick to post "icecream" in this thread thats the random part I guess. If I do not have enough people (enough to fill the room) interested I will still proceed with the event.
