Fighting game characters you hate?

If you've ever played a fighting game (I would assume everyone here has ) then you've inevitably come across characters you have grown to hate for one reason or another. I want to hear who you hate and why.

My most hated character has to be Paul Phoenix.
Half because of everything about him, Half because of the fanboys who defend him and call him original.
He stole most of his move list from Akira, His gi from Ken and his hair from Guile/Bennimaru.
Then we have his personality, Arrogant, prideful, He's the best and no one can tell him otherwise even though he has never won the Tekken tournament.
Namco has turned his story into somewhat of a joke in what I see as a weak attempt to make him more likeable the way Dan Hibiki is but it just doesn't work for me.

I'll post more characters and whys later. For now I want to see the characters you just can't tolerate and flat out hate.

 

SC - Voldo - The bastard's fighting style is too unorthodox. I'm all for variety, and I don't mind the "crazy" character. But, when your moves break the rules of the game...just...no...

VF - Shun - Virtua Fighter's Voldo, read above...

DOA - Zack - I hate everything about him. I mean hate. His personality is retarded (Japan's idea of the stereotypical black guy), his outfits are even more retarded, his voice (english and japanese) rapes my eardrums, and he's a terrible representation of Muay Thai (though it's DOA....so that really shouldn't count).

 

VF - Jean
SF - Rufus,Blanka
Tekken - Eddy,Christie
Fatal Fury - Jubei, Cheng
KOF - Choi
World Heroes - Rasputin
Samsho - Kusaregedo

 

Anything ninjas. Can't stand them.

Kage. Ibuki. Mai. Raven. A large chunk of the DOA Class. All are subject to hate.

Cammy(SF) and Clark(KOF) I know how to deal with most of their bs but what gets me is how brainless it is, Tekken Capo's give me a headache too.

 

Pyrrha's voice is annoying enough that I will stop watching a soul calibur stream until her matches are over.

 

I can't agree with you enough about these three. Choi is an annoying Freddy Kruger wanna be, Rasputin has to the the cheapest fighter in the WH cast and his win poses make you want to kick over your TV.
Kusaregedo.....the fact he even exists makes me want to try some of the marijuana that I hear grows wild in the forests of Kyoto because that's the only logical explanation for him and even that just BARELY explains him.

 

...just kidding.

Characters I'm actually not very fond of are...

Ragna the Bloodedge/Jin Kisaragi (BlazBlue series) - I used to be an active hater of Ky from Guilty Gear. After BlazBlue was first announced and showed most of the character designs, I instantly started to like Ky. Aside from Tager, I did not like any character from that game, but Ragna and Jin stood out due to the designers trying way too hard to make these guys look edgy. I confirmed my disliking after hearing Ragna say "Dammit, that hurt!" five times in less than seven seconds.

Vanessa Lewis (Virtua Fighter 5) - I actually liked her in VF4. It was cool to see a tough, less-feminine female fighter introduced into the series...so let's throw that away in VF5. Now we have some sexy lady who looks like she's posing for an army advertisement. I'm even more annoyed by her changed voice and all of her military-themed quotes. This is coming from someone who can tolerate what Jacky and Lion say.

"Moe" teenage schoolgirl-type characters - I mained Sakura in SFA2, Amy in SC3/SC4, and played a lot of Melty Blood when I was a kid. That said, these type of characters are getting way out of hand. Doesn't help that most of them turn out to be really good in the game they're in (don't bother mentioning Eileen. She was up there in Vanilla VF5).

I'd bring up more, but this rant is long and annoying enough.

 

I'm honestly surprised you didn't mention the entire cast of Arcana Heart.

I've never been a huge fan of MK because of the way the games play but I liked the character designs...then they went 3D and well....You see the list. if you've played any of the last gen MK games you know why these characters are absolutely worthless.

VF - Only Lion. Because I can't stand the fact that Mantis fist style was given to such a lame character. He's a whiny annoying little sh*t. Everyone else is cool though some are cooler than others.

DOA - Hitomi (is she still there?) because she replaced Ein who was awesome and his moves don't suit her. Haven't played DOA in years. I'm sure there are more of them since the character design in DOA is frequently objectionable.

Tekken - Lilly, Dragunov, the chick with the detachable head, Lars, Miguel, Zafina, Leo and BOB (F**KING BOB!!!!). And I hate them because they are the lamest collection of characters ever added to a Tekken game and are a disgrace to the Tekken heritage. They are a big part of the reason I abandoned Tekken forever. You can tell there is some bitterness here.

Mortal Kombat (the new one) - Rain. He used to be such a badass but was ultra-lame in this and the worst part is I actually paid extra for him in DLC :-(.

You know what? F**k this, I'm going to say VF:FS Pai. She's my character and all but the change they made to her voice and manner for VF:FS is the biggest travesty I have ever witnessed in a video game. BRING BACK VF4 PAI CHAN!!

 

The only one I really really hate is Pyrrha because of her wangst.

 

I have a long list from many different games, but I'll keep it just 1 character from games that I currently play.


Dead Or Alive 5
* Alpha - If Kasumi were made out of some Colgate toothpaste, then you have this character.

King Of Fighters 13
* Kim Kaphwan - I'm seriously sick of this guy. He's been top tier in damn near every game he appeared in after his debut in Fatal Fury 2 (he was bottom tier in that). The most annoying thing about him is that SNK has an expy of him in a lot of their other games, including but not limited to: Kim Hae Reyong (SamSho Sen), Chae Lim (KOF Max Impact), Kim Jae Hoon (Garou), Kim Young Mok (Kizuna), etc. SNK, if you're reading this, either just use Kim Kaphwan or create original characters damnit!

Mortal Kombat 9 (I need 3 characters for this game)
* Cyber Sub Zero - Lame character in the story and his moveset sucks, since his moveset is mostly moves that Cyrax and Sub Zero has, with Sonya's dive kick added in.
* Cyrax - No one complains about Cyrax, even though he has several easy ways to do a 100% reset with only 2 stocks of meter
* Kung Lao - A scrub's favorite that takes little to no skill to use. His only saving grace is that many scrubs pick him to counter pick me and they're easy to Babality. I did enjoy the fact that Shao Kahn killed him during his own chapter in the story mode.

Soul Calibur 5
* Xiba - He's just an expy of Kilik who has no facets to his personality beyond "I want food!" Hell, he screams "FOOO~D!" when he gets knocked out. Also, the Sun Wukong tale is probably the most overused tale with respect to character design.

Tekken series
* Christie - All she does is run around and scream "Eddy, where are you!?" I don't understand why she exists since Eddy appeared before she did and Eddy is actually relevant to the storyline and their movesets are mostly the same.

Virtua Fighter series
* Dural - I've always hated characters that just use moves other characters have, that's a lazy way to make a character.

 

VF - Lau and Lei Fei. I hate their voices, faces, and annoying moves. I dont get how so many players on PSN always pick those two.

 

I can't believe they replaced Kilik. Yeah I hate this guy too.
