1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Well... feeling nostalgic, I decided to put something on the web that I couldn't find at its original position.

Welcome back to a time where the DC just launched in the US with good numbers... Many of you probably already had the import DC. Welcome back to a time when DC looked like it was doing good, breaking records (including Episode 1's supposedly), and of course skeptics were vocal.

Anyways, enough of this awful verbage... check out this piece of history (most likely forgotten) that I've put up for a limited time:

P.S. Here's a hint: Myke (I believe) brought this up LONG AGO.

I prefer his review of VF3tb over that of that adam doree person or whatever.

yeah, at least this guy was trying to be honest (maybe trying too hard?). Just keep in mind that some people actually take an hour to beat VF3 in the arcade. And on DC, they take an hour and one minute!/versus/images/icons/tongue.gif

p.s. Notice the picture of "Sega's Dreamcast?"

What gets me about this is that people say Tekken is more complicated than VF!

How the hell is that true?
VF has 2 attack buttons, Tekken has 4.
VF has simple string attacks, Tekken has 10 hit bullshit dial-a-combos.
I can't remember any of the tekken combos except the bloody stupidly simple ones. I think that gamers have to put *more* effort into learning how to play a decent game of Tekken than they would out of VF.
It was a sad day when mainstream consumers caught a glimpse of 'videogames' and titles like Tekken, Crash Bandicoot, and banjo kazooie were born.

    Makes me sick.

It's a thread about VF4, or VF in general, on tekkenzaibatsu.com. Click Forums. Go to the chit chat cafe, then to the 2nd page. Scroll down to "VF4". Enjoy!

Hahahahahaha! I saw the posts on the tekken board, But, before I got to it i couldn't help reading a topic on how to get a Japanese girlfriend. Christ I've never laughed so hard! By the end of it they were all admitting to wanting one and not have a girlfriend ever and how they would kill for one etc. It was painful to read (so maybe I'm a sadist ^_^). When I did get to the VF4 post all there was were a bunch of air heads saying lame things like "oh no, I've never played VF in my life, it's far too hard" sob sob bollocks. I know that's a small percentage of tekkenites but, golly they're stupid! Cheers for the comedy Ghostdog! The looser award goes to them hands down!

    Adio.
