    Flowcharts_Setups im gonna start with some cool setups then if their liked maybe throwdown some kind of flowchart

    Okay Im bored and I want to contribute something useful so here go's
    Akira's new move FFp+k,p a way that I have been using this move to great effect is on hit backdash then buffer in df,df while doing this look at your opponents charecter if you see them low punch or basicaly move, press punch which invokes the great YOHO!!!! at this point follow with the combo of your choice.
    also from the backdash offencive move punch or offencive move throw, SDE, b,fp+k, b,fg+p+k+g are good to.
    this lil setup is good for a few reasons, its high damage and the intial attack allows multiple defencive options if it is guarded. I have more but I gotta go do some stuff

    opponents back is against the wall high guard break=f+g+p+k if successful do DLC which causes wall stun then b,df+p,b,f+p=lots of damage and the victom feels cheated somehow. of course their are lots of ways around this one but the High guard break is not exactly a laggy move so to speak.once someone or hopefuly lots of peaple know of this they will fear it which will open the door for throws or DE or f+p,g+p+k,p or just f+p,b,mixup like b,fp+k or b,fg+p+k cuz they wanna get outta the wall. hmm well im gonna sleep now so maybe when I wake up the magical VF5Akirafairy will bless this thread with more goodness.

    from the trip throw which is b,d+p+g buffer in single palm d,df,f+p follow up with a dash in d+k yeh that move is alittle better now on hit+??? anyway if this little kick hits prefferable on counter you have Quite a few options cuz it makes the opps charecter stunned in a strange way anyway follow ups I like are-De,Sde,backwardcrouchdash single palm to elbow spod,throw or backdash cancel qtcb+p, b,f+p+k, b,f+g+p+k , or Yoho!!! but not so much in this sitch tho still feesable also offencive move punch-throw are viable......

    also from the trip throw setup follow d+k with backdash cancelled ff+p+k,p if this is guarded or sidesteped use defencive options like the auto dodge up or down from the first hit, on hit the sky's the limit also my second post talks of possible options.

    Maddy's Akira does this thing where he grabs you, then he hits you, then he does a P, then another P, then another P, then a P again, then some kind of slam that involves a double P, then P again, if I hit the wall it's yet another P, I swear I'm playing Tekken!

    46g+p, p, p, p, p, 246p or something like that

    After any move that your foe either fails to tech or they're tooooo low to follow up with anything else...

    That's a natural addition to almost grounded opponents. A /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is spammed at the end of it for a nice chunk of damage.

    Killed many foes who failed to tech with the AS3 ^_^

    What does "AS3" mean? I've been calling it the "Three Step Attack", because that's what the commentators call it.

    I'm just gonna take a guess and say he's doing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif (the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif cancels the kick).

    What I like to do is /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif on guard = stagger; quickly followed by /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif to float the opponent and DLC right as you land. Looks badass and makes your opponent go "WTF just happened?".

    I sit and I read this and wonder why in the hell they created AS3 with the ability to do this. Let me get this right, so if I lay there he can get this after most any combo. Then my other choice is to tech where akira then can apply 46p+k, hmm. He can also just follow you up and create a guess, because you are forced to tech not wanting to eat the AS3. Why is it that AS3 has this ability yet I see nobody else with this move? Why does it seem everyone else's ground game resets fast and the opponent's body is no longer able to hit? I'm having a hard time understanding this? Take this damage because you don't tech or take this damage or guessing game, because you don't want AS3 in your ass. <u>AKIRA PLAYERS HAVE NO EXCUSES TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING FROM NOW ON!</u> OMG! THEY DUMBED DOWN COMMAND INPUT ON ALOT OF HIS MOVES TOO!

    Not just trying to play vf4 akira and taking my time to learn all the hard command inputs with a sense of accomplishment..
    Just VF5..

    Errr, did you ever think because Akira is ALL linear, except if you have good yomi and know when to apply his half circulars? He has no full circulars, no strings to toss out endlessly then jump away ala the Eileens out there.... He relies on good solid yomi options that are immensely damaging, but require you to really be on point. The AS3 is just another one of those yomi options - are they gonna tech roll or sit there and let you hit them with it?

    All of these recover too slowly, or the opponent is too far away, for Akira to be following up with AS3. The only way you're ever likely to get the AS3 followup is if you get lucky with a wall hit to keep them close enough, and you recover fast enough.

    Let's not blow things out of proportion.
