Hello everyone! :rock:

Based on the high volume of requests I have received, I decided to give Columbus one of the best tournaments they will ever attend. After all, I will be moving to California a few short weeks after this event.


My last VF tournament, VTYME 2007, had approximately 32 players! The tournament ran very smoothly, and everyone was happy!



There has not been a tournament in Columbus in over 7 months! Our HUGE local and regional scene is hungry to compete!!


This tournament <u>will</u> be huge!


I promise this tournament will have:

Can we have a Mvc2/Cvs2/TvC tournament? No.

<ul>[*]If you arrive after 10:00AM, and want to register, you will be charged a $5 service fee. Don't be angry, just show up on time. There will be <u>ZERO</u> accommodations for ANY PLAYER.[/list]

These rules may seem extreme, but I PROMISE if 99% of the players show up EARLY/ON TIME this event will be a wonderful experience.

EVERYTHING STARTS AT 11AM --- That means if you do not register online, I would advise to come on Friday night and stay at the hotel.

i may go just out of curiousity...

also, alotta suckas are givin em shit for not hosting MVC2/3S/CVS2 over VF, but he doesn't care. that's pretty commendable in my book....

Leejang is THE BEST Virtua Fighter 5 player I have ever seen. Leejang is from KOREA, and beat our best player with EASE using Shun Di!!

The community needs to support, and come out to this tournament!

I'll be there, and a few of the OG columbus peoples will possibly come out the woodworks, so if you guys come, we'll def play...

 

I'm wondering about one guy who was called as NYcat.
His name Arthur, has lived in New york and played Lion on VF3 times. Yes... It's a kind of old story.

If anyone is acquainted with New York Clan or him, please give me some info. I hope to see him during his life.
He is about 60s or 70s years old now.

 

I haven't heard from Art for many years now.

Registration and casuals will start at 10am and end at 11:30pm.

From there SF4, UFC 09, VF5 will begin at Noon.
GG:AC, Smash, 3S, SC4 will begin at 3pm

We anticipate between 35-64 Street Fighter players. From there, they will decide which other tournaments to enter. 20-32 are anticipated for UFC, 32-40 for Smash, and 16-20 for VF5/SC4.

We are also working with BigCityTourney. They are kindly sharing their sponsors with us, and will be running the first UFC 2009 Tournament at Focus Cancel!

Marcell also produced the Focus Cancel Flyer that we printed a number of copies, and have distributed them all around key areas in Metro Columbus.

Don't forget that Leejang is a very good VF5 player, and this is his first tournament in America.
