Hey, what's gud guys... Ive been checkin out the site for quite some time now and the Akira posts have been exceptionally helpful in my improvment. There's one thing that I really wanna work on now though... forcing nitaku. What are some good moves to do such? Thanx in advance.

I find it a bit harder to force nitaku with Akira since his moves are somewhat easy to sidestep, however, I've found 2 forced choice scenarios that seem to work well for my games

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif can force many different throw escape attempts if you 0-frame a dashing-in throw, it's hard, but done correctly, it's sorta no choice & works really well, thanks a ton Konjou! ^_^

The other is /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. On a sideturned scenario, they have to crouch a possible throw attempt, or standing block a sidekick. Best case is that they panic trying to fight back and you CLOBBER them with a bodycheck to the ribs. It CAN be dodged but only on normal. On CH, it becomes a 'perfect' Nitaku. Watch for the glowing blue light effect.

thank's a ton dewd. I needed that b/c is it me or... is it insanely perplexing trying to come up with new mind games for this guy. so many of his attacks are linear you can almost just blindly dance your way around him to victory. He's like Paul Pheonix with a bigger brain. (guess paul forgot about ppl dodging his punches in the midst of all his training)

I find that people adapt to this very quickly, seeing as his biggest damage will come from /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif it's not long before they start to escape the second throw.

You can 0-frame any throw /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif And if they start inputting a whole lotta throw escapes, you can do something else.. like another /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif lol (Although its propably better to do some normal attack in case opponent screws up the G in TEG)

Theres a lot of moves that can be used to force guessing games to opponent, if not true nitaku.

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is one of the most important moves to gain advantage with as it no longer knocks down on counter, instead it gives great advantage (true nitaku on counterhit).

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif also, great advantage if first hit counters and the second hit is always guaranteed if the first hit hits on normal hit even. Dont forget this move goes under high attacks in disadvantage, even though its kind of slow.

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif forces a true nitaku on counterhit. Good advantage on normal hit too.

    And of course theres
    counterhit /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

CH /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is probably the best Nitaku setup EVAR! The dude punches HARD! ^_^

Akira has I think several ways to mess up an opponents head after his pull-in throw Shin'iha.

Double Shin'iha is to train your foe and figure out if they know how to throw break. If not, this thing: /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, buffer dash-in, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif will easily kill them in 2 uses. They will either learn to break, or whine how you're a scrub using the same moves over and over. I like the latter, makes me feel superior ^_^

When they do throw break, there's a LOT you can do. I resort to either Neutral Throwing, his reverse bodycheck: /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, or his Stumbling Trip/Surprise Exchange: /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif//forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. Surprise exchange is funny if they try to block cause I've done it like 3 times in a row once just to make them attack and POW, Kuzushi dblplm! ^_^

Manjimaru, I find that quite often my enemy is knocked back a little bit by the elbow, which seems to prevent me from applying more pressure...

At times, instead, the enemy just bends over and stays close.

What are the reasons for these two different reactions?

The reasons for the reactions don't matter when /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif is guarunteed to nab them so long as they don't CD (can they crouch dash to escape from normal hit? not sure)

If the tip of your elbow hits their extended limb, then they're probably too far away to keep pressure going, but the pull-in throw is Akira's short-range version of Scorpion's Mortal Kombat Cable. It yanks you into Akira's ideal range and has 3 VERY NASTY combo ready follow ups.
