After a few nights of porting my hacks and ironing out bugs, I've managed to change the forum across to the php version since the perl version is no longer being supported.

As usual, let me know of any problems.

A week later, I thought I'd mention that this fixed a problem I'd been having where the forum top nav bar (with akira logo that I hate forever) was way over to the left rather than center justified.
    So that's happy!@!
What's up with PHP anyway? I know almost nothing in Perl, but less than that for PHP.

Well, I'm no expert in php so I had to give myself a crash course in it in order to perform the changeover. But from what I've read, php will put less of a demand on the server, especially when there is a high number of concurrent users on the forum. Also, the author of the software believes php will better facilitate future directions he plans on taking the software whereas to do the equivalent in perl would be a right royal pain.
