TFT - Knee - P - P - f+K+G - DP is used alot for damage

TFT - Wall Hit - DP - u+P simple but very damaging wall combo
df+P - P - P - d+P+K (Wall Hit) - u+P another damaging wall combo

TT P+K,K - back dash - u+P haha big foot stompÂÂ@huge damage, kinda reminds me of the old VF2 TFT combo /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

b,f+K MC - TT PKG - DP (I saw Muscles Sarah do this with his Kage, way cool!)

TFT - d+P+K - PPb+P - FC,f+K

f+P+G - f+P back stagger - uf+K+G - d+P+K - DP

Oh and I saw this Kage player do the following hilarious flow chart on one poor Wolf Player...he must have been trying to struggle low jab or something...

Akira stuff 4 Jason (and Rodney etc)

Okay here's the promised Akira stuff J, mostly from Watching Mucky's Emperor Akira and Kyasao's 10th Dan Akira (Kyasao has an Emperor Jeffry and 9th Dan Lion and Shun too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

ShRm - P - ShRm - DbPm: On LW or MC MW EVERYTIME
ShRm - P - ShRm - d+k: Standard combo on MW
Shrm - P - ShRm - DE or b,f+P+K: Easy yet damaging on LW or MC MW
SDE - f,f+KK: Fave Akira round opener. Do not delay the f,f+KK do it as fast as possible.
df+P+K - f,f+KK: Another fave round opener.
If Akira gets satggered do db+P+K, throw esacpes. Mucky does this alot. Works well against Kage for example because you reverse stuff like f+P/df+K/d+K+G/DPK and avoid air-toss!!
b,f+P+K: Akiras best move to attacl TR because it is hard to dodge. Alos d+P back dash b,f+P+K is devestating. Fully charged b,f+P+K into DbPm is guaranteed.
ShRm - P - P - b,f+P+K or DbPm: More damaging combos for Akira (like he doesn't have enough!)
Shrm - P - f,f+KK: Crazy damage! I think it is Open Stance specific.
b,f+P - P - DbPm or f,f+KK: DbPm is standard combo, f,f+KK maybe stance specific.
b,f+P+K+G: Useful against rising kicks because Akira moves/evades away before attack dodging moves.]
Dodge P+K+G: Very useful in tight situationsÂÂBIf you have been MC or staggered use this move to get out of danger. df+P after is guaranteed, you can do u+P sometimes and even AS3 if u can turn around quick enough.
FC,f+P blocked - do ShRm or df+P+K: Alot of people try to attack after a blocked single plam and get punished!
(b,d+P+G) FC,f+P (wall hit) - SPOD: FC, f+P is an awesome wall combo starter.
f,b+P+G flow charts:
f,b+P+G, P+K - DbPm: Guaranteed if done perfect timing
f,b+P+G, P+K - f,b+P+G, P+K...
f,b+P+G - throw
f,b+P+G - d+P+G - f,f+K - P - ShRm - DbPm
f,b+P+G, dodge P+K - d+P+G or throw or SPOD
After f,b+P+G or db+P+G or d,df+P+G do DbPm. If opponent TR you can do df+K back stagger or b,f+P+K
b,f+P+G stuff.
If you do f,b+P+G and opponent TR you can hit thme with b,f+P+K...practise!
b,f+P+G (Wall Hit) - PK - b,f,f+P+K

When Akira is TR DbPm is a fave attack move followed by ShRm. Akira's also do reverse throw escape which is very effective!
ShRm - P - P - P - DbPm: Doable but hard!
df+P+K - throw: Useful throw setup
df+P+K+G - throw: Another useful throw setup.
d+P - b+P+K+G,P into SPOD/DLC/f,f+KK/DbPm/b,f,f+P+K: Good flow chart for punishing low jabs!
How to get maximum damage form HGB+P - b,f,f+P+K:
HCB+P - WALK 2 steps towards opponets left shoulder - b,f,f+P+K
For combos like ShRm - P - ShRm - DbPm do a BACKWARDS crouch modified DbPm.
i.e. df,df,f+P+K - P - df,df,f+P+K - db,db,b,f+P
For combos after b,d+P+G, f,b+P+G,P+K or d+P+G try extending the DbPm crouch modification.
i.e. b,d+P+G - df,df,f+P - db,db,db,b,f+P
After df+P+G - df+P dash as CLOSE to the opponet as possible. If they delay their rising kick or you have supreme timing you can hit them with HCB+P for MC into bodycheck trick for 2/3rd Bar!! (Kyasao does this all the time!)
Shrm (Wall Hit) - HCB+P - b,f,f+P+K
DbPm (Wall Hit) - DbPm
db,f+P+G: If opponent TR you can hit them with b,f+P+K or df+P if they stay down.

Ryan has had 500+ maches as Kage and is 9th dan now. He was challenged by Kyasao twice and won both times, so a couple fo loss's on Kyasaos emperor stats are down to him /versus/images/icons/wink.gif
He also has a 7th Dan Jacky and 5th Dan Akira.

I was at 3rd dan (Kage), then my card went haywire. I had to trudge through the lower Kyu's back up to third dan and it looks like my new card has moosed up too /versus/images/icons/frown.gif Oh well I'll just start again if that's the case, well on my way to my 4th Dan target though!

Stove (Ai Player) had a similar problem when is 5th dan Aoi card broke. he has worked his way up to 2nd Dan now.

We got further than Kyasao's team in the 3 on 3 which was funny!! I'll type up a report on it in the future.

Yesterday at West Shinjuku Saygall Wolf and Muscles Sarah were on fire, with 10 and 11 wins versus heads when I left for a bite to eat. Wolfs HCB+P MC is too strong!!

Are the high Dan Pai's using her df+P+K inashi much? I was exposed to this move while we were mucking around after the last Toronto tournament. I believe it has a lot of potential, but I haven't had the time to do much experimenting with it myself... I see using it in situations similar to when you would use attack reverse-throw escape with Akira. Have any Pai players found anything guaranteed after the stumbles created by the mid-level inashi?

 

Regards Pai, there are some awesome Pai players.

The better ones usually rely on moves like FC, f+P to MC into combos. Segal loves to pull this move off from a standing block position to go under jabs. Once in the air do the following:

FC, f+P - P - FC, f+P - ff+P,K
FC, f+P - P - FC, f+P - KK - df+P
FC, f+P - P - FC, f+P - uf+KK

Moves like db+P are tasty as is the b+P MC crumple. They use uf+KK if in trouble to stop rushes. db+K+G and b+K+G if you anticpate dodges or TR dodge throw escapes. If you think someone is going to to dodge throw escape (lets say for example Pai has blocked an elbow) than do P,G - throw. The jab will nulify the frames in there dodge guard throw escape so when you do throw, their reverse window has expired, this is a favoured Jacky tactic. PPP - b,b - d+K+G os annoying. f,f+K+G - KK - df+P is the perfect long range rising kick punishment attack. df+P, K+G charged is a great way to ring out.

Strangley (Kage) FC,f+K - P - df+K - ub+K+G is Kage's most damaging non-wall TFT combo, but it can only be done on certain characters.
