How do you guys define homestay style of playing?To me, he doesn't have great movements.His mindgame is strong in a way or another....

 

to simply put it, i forgot which japanese player said it,

"Homestay [in his prime] doesnt make mistakes", he is clutch and ice all in one, thats why hes usually anchor on just about every team.

 

i simply love homestay's style...

Ok, I don't know about any of you Akira Players in NA but for I'd have never ever seen Inocci(AK) played this way before in my life. It seems like th kid was really really really pissed off @ something or he was on a mission. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

 

i've never seen inocci played before, but i think he was trying to maximize the potential of .
i don't know about anybody else here, but every time i play, and i'm in the mood of a certain move, i'd as many combos or series with that move.
now for this guy, if you said you've seen him played before and not like this, then i could be wrong

Uhm. Yeah. Inocchi! I showed Richard these clips at work the other day and he left the office kinda quick:

"Hey Richard, you watched all of them?"

Jacky players: What's up with Arashi's >? Is this 1)FT only 2) Kage specific 3)Works only when the flop is weirdly close 4)You have to dash in just right? Just curious if anyone knows...I couldn't make it happen at home in several tries. Thanks.

 

You can do it in Evo, you just need to be quick about the dash.

 

You can do 3ppp -> 6k in evo. It's tough. IIRC, you can crouchdash in and do it, or 66g~6k will work. It might be stance specific, too.

 

It's not too difficult actually, you just need to get used to the timing - The reason people never see me do it is because I prefer the guaranteed damage from pounce. It's actually pretty cool to do near a wall for pressure however.

Thanks guys...I just didn't want to keep trying to do something impossible. I do have to say at this juncture that in evo is on the short list of cheapest things in the game...hence the command change. Ain't Jacky fun to play though?

 

Actually, the command change is to make it easier to do the move from crouching. Jacky players complained that it's hard to pull off the move from crouching, to punish whiffed high moves, so Sega changed the command to make it easier to do from crouching. Does that make it to the top of the list now?

Easiest input imo is 6646K. The reason to do this (as you get more dmg from the pounce) is ofc for the great Oki you get after since the 6k keeps them face down. They can't roll, if they do you can dash and backstagger them with elbow / midkick / whatnot so they're "forced" to QR.

OT; In VF5 - If it's true that you can now techroll the slam it's really nerfed. That's 25 guaranteed dmg taken away from all elbowcounterable situations with Jacky =(
