Here is a fun excercise to do with lei fei (at least i found it fun). Go to dojo and set the computer to block and throw/mid mix-up. Now do the doku roll forward double kick. As best i can tell, it is random wether the 2nd hit will knock down the computer or be blocked. So now u are forced to ETEG if the computer blocks both hits, and otherwise try and follow the hit with ur bounce combo. It takes some good reaction speed and psuedo hit checking to consistantly choose correctly. Hope the lei clan enjoys this.

an exercise that i like is to do the following:

set the computer to block and throw/mid mix-up just like social ruin said...
then start off with one iteration of a dance... 2pkg 2 8pkg g
then randomly throw out a 236pk sabaki, a 9kg, a 46pk, or a doku kg, then edteg them and repeat
the tricky one is 9kg... the timing is jacked on it

How much do you guys dojo nowadays?

When I first started playing, I would dojo that shit for hours. Max Damage combos, Dancing, Inputs, Dfense techs, flow charts, etc..
Anymore I haven't practiced lei fei in the dojo in probably 3-4 months. I just turn on, jump into ranked and go at it. With either lei fei or pai. My first 3-4 matches are always shaky, and some days i don't get fully into it, which dojo would help, but either way. On, play, profit.

i just dance after every match to increase coordination, and fight against the same person for hours to practice stuff like etegs and what not

It is really random. I sat here and did it for a long time and it was hilarious. I don't know why but it was.
