    Hi,

    Could anyone tell me :

    - with Jacky, when I get a MC /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (crumple), the following /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif does not bounce the opponent. WHY?!

    - Can I use Fuzzy after a quick recovery to counter the following Nitaku situation? I seem to to have a lot of trouble with this.

    Cheers

Generally stomach crumples cant be bounce-launched (I dont remember any that can). Need to be a headstun (Like Akira /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif) or sidehit crumple I believe.

Quick rise recovers standing, so to fuzzy youd need to do a crouchdash. I highly doubt this will work since opponent propably has enough advantage to throw you before you get to crouch. You should propably try evade-throwescapes-guard or throwescape-guard instead.

If you do a techroll (/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif) it recovers crouching, so you can fuzzy, although opponents who have a lowthrow can do that to beat it (among other things).

Also the opponent position sometimes comes to effect, in certain cases techrolling from wrong position (like face down head towards) will guarantee free backhit and possible highdamage combo to opponent.

You can bounce off of a stomach crumple dP refloat (jeff). Dunno if it works for jacky.

so it's really important to look at your position when you're knocked down to see if it's best to techroll or not, and what direction to techroll?

    yeah, see

    http://virtuafighter.com/wiki/doku.php?id=vf5:system_part_1#fall_recovery

basically face down head towards (usually head, stomach crumples) == don't techroll

face down feet towards ( usually foot crumples ) == don't quick rise.

I'm really not sure if its possible to force people to guard attacks after they quick rise in VF5, e.g. whether evading is always possible.
