Game Focus league Plans

    hiya!

    Okay... The owners of Game Focus and I have assessed the two league tournament and we are going to bring in effect the weekly league tournament. A few changes to league will be in order such as winning streak limits.

    Games will be reduced from 5 to four to increase space. I will also bring in prizes for the top player in the league. League for each game will continue for two months, in which time we will find a winner. It will then start again for another two months and titles will change such as TTT for T4 and visa versa.

    Rules will be put up on the game focus website, along with news, photos, and results. There will also be a Dynamic League version of the results for those who want to compare.

    We will be opening the league in the weekend, on saturday and Sunday. Saturday from 1pm to 7pm and Sunday from 12 noon to 5 pm.

    Most probable games to feature are:

    SC2
    VF4 Evo
    Capcom vs SNK 2
    Super SF II X
    Halo
    Tekken Tag (If can get VF4 UK) OR Pro Evo Soccer 2
    Smash Bros Melee
    Tekken 4

    Games will rotate between saturday and sunday so if on saturday we have vf4 sc2 halo and t4 and the rest on sunday, we will have vf4 sc2 halo and t4 on sunday next week and the games on sunday will be on saturday and then visa versa week after.

    Entry will stay at £3.

    Smash Bros will be dropped for Mario Kart GC 8 player once it is out on import.

    sounds good to me, SSBM has no real competition anywayz, me, archangel and slayer are getting tired of running around the arena after n00bs, lol.

    well, it's a fair roster, though i'd warn peeps that sunday is out of the question for me, sabbath day an all, so i'll have to play VF every two weeks.

    Yep I'm with that /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif Might have the same prob with Sundays as well though,
    so this is all taking place from the start of next month?

    sounds ok but i dont think i could come down on sundays as its only till 5, plus i work till 2 on sunday, an transport is sparse on sundays, ie buses /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif
