Congratulations to Duncan & Femto for establishing a Seattle Rivalry!

Last week, Duncan showed up to Thursday Night Fights, put Femto into the loser's bracket and then lost to the wrath of Femto in the Grand Finals. This week, the reverse happened where Femto puts Duncan in the loser's bracket and Duncan climbs back up to take down the reigning king of Seattle!

Will next week repeat this pattern?

You also cannot count out Cole who has been maintaining 3rd place in all of the Game Clucks tournaments (including this one, which was run by Game Clucks but played at Dante's).

Watch out for the wrath of Afro-Cole, he traveled to Portland this weekend, established a 2nd Place finish at Best Bout Beatdown 13 and I gotta say, after some sessions I've had with him, his game is clearly still leveling up!

Thought I would also post the previous tournament results, brackets, and playlists. Seattle VF is currently young, but don't count them out, they are all clearly leveling up quickly despite the short amount of time for a lot of the players.

Femto has also been proudly exhibiting his veteran strength and forcing the rest of the Seattle field to improve!

Just a reminder:

Thursday Night Fights return to GameClucks (in Lynnwood, WA) this week!

There will be both a casual session and a tournament for Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown and I highly recommend all Seattle area VF players make it out there for the perfect offline VF experience!

There will be players of all levels there, from newcomers to hardened veterans. It should be an awesome time for everyone!

For me, the players to watch out for:
* Duncan
* Femto
* Cole
* Zass (however, he just started using a Hit Box which might dent his performance in the short-term)

It'll also be great seeing how everyone else has adjusted since the last tournament. I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the field develops over the summer, I think there's a lot of potential and already some great stuff!

For those not going to Evo, we are still planning on running Thursday Night Fights tomorrow. There will be no stream and my setup is not available as I will not be there. We are also looking to finalize our GameClucks / Dante's schedule soon including the return of the GameClucks Monthlies.
