1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

So gamefaqs.coms question of the day asks, whats your all time favorite 3D fighting series? so of course i answer with VF, then i see the results. VF is in last place at only 3.1 percent. it makes me feel like its only a matter of time till VF isnt even released outside of japan.

i hope the release of the 360 version offers some sort of online feature that will make VF more popular outside of japan. i love VF and i wish sega would give the option to meet other VF players and set up matches console to console. this would in my opinion make it easier to meet other VF players.

giving us the fans that dont live in japan another way to meet up besides these forums. in fact if it wasnt for this website there probably be alot less people playing VF. sometimes though you dont want to have to log online just to find someone to play. like i said before im lucky i grew up with friends who love fighting games.

if you dont have any friends that play VF its hard to get someone into VF. first off fighters arent that popular anymore outside of japan. second its a fighter that takes time to learn. people these days want instant gratification. it would just be great to play VF and send messages console to console.

i dont need VF to play online but sega does need to find a way to please VF players outside of japan. it be nice if there was arcades still outside of japan but thats not the case. theres no point of having a fighting game if you dont have anyone to play with in my opinion.

oh yea by the way im pretty sure sega wont be releasing any online content. which probably means most of us wont even be able to experience version c. cmon sega give us a patch so we can at least experience version c. nothing. alright sega thanks.

until VF5 came out i have never seen or heard of a company that does not like making money. they knew putting this game online would increase sales but no they obviously have so much money that they don't need anymore. i don't know about sega but after seeing how this game sold in the U.S i would have implemented online play on the 360 without a second thought lag or not.

VF5 is one of the only next gen games without some sort of online feature or content. this sucks because this is one of my favorite games and id love to have at least some downloadable content in the future.

im pretty damn sure we dont have anything new to look forward to when it comes to VF5. unless you live in japan and your already playing the updated version c. some people dont think this a big deal but i beg to differ. i could always use extra content and game balancing updates.

its likes sega said this is the version your going to get and thats that. no online content or updates. nothing.

it would give me an incentive to play VF5 more. ill put it this way, when a game like VF5 is one of your favorite games of course your going to look forward to downloadable content and updates. it just sucks to know that were stuck with what we have.

which isnt bad cause i love VF but it still would be nice to at least be able to play version c. it sucks that most of us who love VF wont be able to experience it outside of japan.
