I hope they're not. Is it actually getting a lot of DL's?

Well, Gernburgs mentioned there was about 3500 ratings for the download (which I'm assuming is the US marketplace). There's about 1000 on the UK (Europe?) marketplace, so if you take that as a rough guess...

    no...

However, its more than I thought, if its anywhere near accurate, which it probably isnt...

#1. They should of done that long time ago. #1B. Its much cheaper to buy the Disc.

#2 They should of ported games like Fighters Megamix, Virtua Fighter 3 or 2 on the XBLA Market Place or PSN Network.

#3 I am Still waiting on Virtua Fighter 5:FS.

Good that's what they get, if they ever listen to their fanbase, they'll have better sales.

Sega at this point seems so hell bent on churning out the next Sonic game they keep forgetting the kickass IPs they have. These last few months Sega released quality games like Valkyria Chronicles 2, Phantasy Star Portable 2, and Vanquish. But has there been a single ad for any of them? Hell no! I bet you with Sonic Colors (Which is looking VERY good mind you.) there will be hundreds of ad banners and commercials on TV. I get that the Sonic series is Sega's bread and butter but come on.

I actually bought the game at the marketplace so I can save my disk for an emergency. I went through a few VF5 disks in the past and I don't want to buy anymore of them. I know they cost about 10 dollars but my local gamestop doesn't always have the game when I need it I often look for the game recently just to see if it is there. I think it is better to have VF5 without the disk by far to avoid having the disk scratched for any reason good or bad.

XD you know... what would've been kick ass if they released more item packs with it for free with the buy.

    of course it'll never happen.

worstplayer you really might be right about sega not using this as a method to gauge intrest in VF.

I'm starting to think that sega's marketing department is just terrible. I'm understanding now how a company that used to be in the running with nintendo, has fallen so far.

Sega is just a terrible company, and I really don't understand how it manages to stay afloat.
