why dont some of the senior board members/mods do a really indepth review of VF4 to really explain to people the technicalites and also one of SC2(or maybe an SC2 page?) and then submit them to a site or magazine or something. It would be like the real players review. maybe open up some eyes?

Well, really, every mod here is inherently biased, and in all honesty, so are the forumgoers...

You know why SC gets so much praise ? It's because Namco bought out all the European, North American, and Japanese medias.

This would be funny if it weren't actually true. Several game companies covertly give "incentives" for extra features, PR, and cover stories on their big-name titles in the gaming press. This is a well-known practice that has been established for years.

True but isn't SEGA a bigger company than Namco ? And doesn't SEGA, makers of Genesis and a crazy amount of videogame classics (more than Namco) have more respect and notoriety ? Why is it that the smaller, and probably less famous company getting all the love ? The first SC which was on a SEGA console got a perfect score on famitsu and basically the rest of the world and back then there wasn't any SC vs VF3 clashes. Now all of a sudden SC2 is garbage and the medias give it too much coverage. I wonder if opinions would've been different if SC2 had the SEGA logo in the begining intro instead of the Namco one.

If I remember correctly didn't DOA3 get good praises and good coverage during the VF4 era ? I think it sold pretty well too, some reviews claimed it was the best fighter ever but not alot of ppl complained and not alot of ppl compared despite both being hand to hand combat games, and VF being a deeper game, why ? Oh and also, weren't most reviews mainly focused on kumite and AI mode, than the fighting engine ? Nobody cared because DOA3 was garbage right, so what's the difference with SC2 (which is a weapons combat game btw) ? Why the arguments and drama if the game is garbage ?
